I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. You are trail blazing and your writing is so easy to read. I always smile and have great contemplation through each of your articles. My favourite part is reading them to my 75-year-old mom. Who is now open to the idea of questioning everything She has seen on the news. I hear her on the phone, to her friend’s saying things I’ve read to her from your articles. Cheers from 🇨🇦

You read them TO HER? 😭♥️😭

Yes, I read them to her every time you put one out. Many of our other family members now think that we’re crazy because we think Kamala is a nut job and we’re Canadian. I keep reminding them we can’t vote so it doesn’t matter what we think. But the best part is her generation predominantly gets their news from mainstream media and now my mom is seeing where it’s lacking and not saying everything and reminding all of her friends that we are hearing only what they want us to hear.

What a beautiful tribute by RFK Jr to his mother. As a mother, I was deeply touched.

Your writing is a breath of fresh air, I look forward to it, I wait for your instagram stories and my email notifications of a new substack read. There is no topic I would find dull with a JRK spin! Thank you for sharing your views, your travels, your family and all things Jessica Reed Krauss. I no longer follow any main stream media and am grateful to have real life views of this political race, along with anything else sprinkled in like sunshine on the way. Close to the same age, woth children the same age , your perspective is so relatable. What a phenomenal role model for your kids to show how rewarding following your passions can be. I applaud you daily

This piece. Excellent! Loved every word. Great synopsis to go with the 200 mile an hour winds hitting the east coast. What a literal metaphor for your current writing.

Arlo. Yes, chef! Mire a poix knife skills, as well as flavor and lack of sleep. Chef school at its finest.

The text from Aaron E was so well written. He said everything I’d say, but more well spoken.

RFK Jr’s tribute to his mom. I sobbed a little reading it. It’s obvious his love and respect for her is infinite. 💔

Your family has my heart. Stay safe.

In the tired hours of night I think I figured out exactly the writer you emulate ~ Charles Dickens. He wrote about what he saw going on about him in the UK. It was serialized in the newspaper. Weekly reads that enthralled readers. You’re our modern day Dickens! Please mum, can I have some more?

I did not know this about him. Now I want to read these old pieces.

I recommend Bleak House. Really illustrates the plight of the people vs government.

Well said! A modern day Charles Dickens. Or Robert McCloskey.

A nice 530am listen. Now on to reading my Bible…

I’m trying hard to get my mom to get every seed oil out of the house. Next I’ll make her follow you and stop watching Fox News. But she uses butter tubs with canola oil so we shall see how it goes.

Thanks for the little updates. They are enjoyable

Who else is madly in love with Aaron Everitt's writing? And via text! This is one of my favorite articles. I felt your pain. Pride. Fear. Questioning. Motherhood.....what a gift you are. Admit it - you're also low-key admiring your son's stupidity for the fire on some level cuz he had a bit of recreckless abandon and you know in time, he will hone the same skills as you have and follow his heart. 💙 You're on the home stretch. Thank you for all you do.

As a Floridian here in FL, without power, it wasn’t too bad of a hurricane. But the winds and rain for hours definitely made things worse.

We were prepared for it, but not like those in Asheville, NC. Helene was definitely something worse: https://unorthodoxy.substack.com/p/hurricane-helene-was-climate-warfare

Love your writing!

Truly this is an age of sexless prudes. I always wondered how the Regency and the gross William IV was followed by modest little Victoria. Now I get it. Farewell 1967 - 2001…

In 2021, I retired after 31 years in education. With all my free time, I found myself completely enthralled in the Johnny Depp trial and through that somehow started following you. I have named you my “indie journalist.” I look forward to your insta stories and read your sub stack. Now, my husband will even ask, “What is your indie journalist saying about this or that?” I have not trusted mainstream media for DECADES after seeing things first hand and then reading the inaccurate reporting of the same event. You are a breath of fresh air and I love your approach to all things. On your son’s issue at school….. the things kids do at school…..I could tell you stories! The fact that you actually admitted what he did AND his punishment for doing it, is refreshing in today’s world of “my kids would never…..” Thank you for being an awesome parent and for your ongoing, refreshing reporting!

Beautiful piece! Your voice in your writing is what resonates with me. As a teacher, I always found the students who would rather be "anywhere but here" the most fun to teach. Whichever child this was - he has some spirit and gumption- and blisters from weed pulling!

I love that not only do you share the people and places, but that you are able to experience the beauty of our country. I am eager to hear how Nick is doing. So many believe that Trump is on the "list" even with proof I think they will still think otherwise. They just want so badly to believe he is evil. These same people think Tulsi is friendly with Putin. Even when I say, " hold your enemies closer", they cannot see how wrong they are. Have you seen the SNL skits- hilarious and I am shocked that they are making fun of the democrats!

Never in my life did I consider myself a political person. I did little research on my own and made decisions sometimes based on what others told me. My sisters (4 of them) all the same as myself. 4 of us lean right, one leans way left. YOU hooked three of us into listening, reading, talking and loving most of this election year. I won't lie and tell you that when this is over, we will anxiously await your stories, recaps, new info, and insights!

Keep writing, take time for yourself, and stay safe.

So many gems of incredible writing all in one place! Have been sharing the FL gov website weather modification rules with those who still think it an incredulous idea. And as a homeopath, I'm hoping the "bag of remedies" were homeopathic and indicative of a manifesting mainstream debut. Hope you get some rest and gather strength for the weeks ahead. (Have no idea how the septuagenerians do these grueling campaigns!) Your writing has single-handedly refueled both my journalistic interest and political curiosity.

This post just shows this was a week. All of us are like aghhhhh 📆🗓📲📨📤💸💸💸🎃🎄🐇💌🦃⛽️⏳️⌚️🚨🚨🚨🚨🔥🔥🔥hahah. 2024 is throwing all the things at us. My fav is Lana and her redneck. She's probably being treated like a queen, although she probably married him cause I'd daddy issues or something. She has a fascination with older men. But If I don't see Trump and 50 Cent on stage with "Many Men" I'm gonna be dissatisfied with my 2024 bingo card. Or maybe an Alien, scene from the Mummy when they dig up some ancient shit in Egypt. All is plausible right now. And you sum it up beautifulltimvery time.
