The like 48 min. speech Kennedy gave saying he was suspending his campaign is one I think every American should hear. The thing in our country that need to be fixed like all of the processed food and sick and obese children, the cough cough and big pharma etc.

Bobby needs to stay in the game, and continue to be that game-changer. I think by suspending his campaign and joining with Trump, where Trump, amazingly, embraced the core issues of Bobby's campaign, is the way he stays in the game. The crusade continues, but by other means. And the crusade continues on into 2028. I still have a Kennedy24 sticker on my car, and will through and perhaps beyond the election in November.

Do agree with you on big pharma and stuff in our food and environment. Don't think Kennedy would ever get the corporate world to work with him however. So he's a no go in my book. He just doesn't have the $$$$ and that is unfortunately what our political world has come to.

Expand full comment

The corporate world has far too much power over us. I view it that as a huge asset that he's not embedded in that world. I don't trust any politician that is.

Expand full comment

Don’t trust any politician. Just try to go with someone who seems to have your best interests in mind, do the background to see if they actually have done what they say they will do. Pay attention to the way they interact with others. If they put people off how are they gonna get consensus in Congress?

Irrelevant? Him and Trump on stage was one of the biggest moments in political history! He’s also having some of his personal policies directly implemented by Trump. I call that a win, especially when you are sued and abandoned by your own party. It’s time to do what’s best for the country! He’s going to have a very bright future.

None of that is true. You're either a troll, or you're not paying very close attention.

Or maybe YOU will see? Hopefully you are just as open minded as the crowd hanging out here and able to take stock after we see it all play out..

Referring you to my comment to Debbie P. I repeat: the crusade continues, but through other means.

As soon as I saw that headline, I knew exactly who it was about! Volunteering for Kennedy has connected me (mostly through the wonders of Zoom) with some truly incredible people, and let me tell you, this movement is still thriving with energy. Every time Kyle’s on a call, it’s like the whole vibe shifts—his energy is that contagious! Kyle is like a energetic breeze that sweeps through and shakes things up in all the best ways. He’s the kind of guy who catches everyone’s attention, not just because he’s a bit of a spectacle (which is a compliment), but because his magnetic energy pulls people in. You know that saying about how people never forget how you make them feel? Well, Kyle’s mastered that art. His kindness, go-getter spirit, and all-around awesome vibe are unforgettable. Honestly, the world could use a lot more Kyles! He’s like that piece of art in a museum that your artsy friends rave about while others just don’t get it. But I get it, Kyle and you’re awesome!

This country has never seen anything quite like the Kennedy campaign over the past two years, because we've never seen a candidate like Bobby. His campaign was destined for failure, but by endorsing Trump he stays in the campaign, and opens up his crusade and exposure to millions more people. This isn't a campaign that ends in November. I'm excited to see how he proceeds going forward over the next four years.

I’d love to see the Kennedy bus in Bend Oregon. Every politician ignores the coastal states when there’s a huge amount of independent voters looking for a home. Oregon is not as blue as they say it is. That’s only in the big city close to the colleges. Most of the state voters are moderates who want to make money, pay less taxes and be left alone to thrive.

Hands down would perform better than Harris or Trump. Please suggest they come. They’re doing a huge disservice to their campaign not coming here.

Near the colleges, does that someone hint that intelligence is in the works?

Expand full comment

It’s funny and ironic that you would equate intelligence to education. The elitist attitude is one of the problems being taught at the university level. When every student is taught that most of America is dumb and only functions at an 8th grade reading level, you end up with academics who look down on the average person. When in reality the most successful people did not graduate from college. The private sector makes more money for a reason and usually it’s because they aren’t over educated. That’s the employees they hire. Encouraging people to sign up for debt enslavement forcing them to take corporate jobs achieving someone else’s dream, while looking down your nose at how smart you are. Some of the smartest business men I met were pimps and drug dealers. They are some of the least educated with a minimal reading level but run illegal enterprises that outsmart the government, who is staffed by the best and the brightest Ivy League minds.

Expand full comment

Both of my parents attended job-specific, two year community colleges. They were smart, extremely successful and dedicated not only to their family but to the betterment of their community. Oh, and they were conservative lifelong republicans.

Expand full comment

I agree. I have always said the smartest thing the Democrat party did was brand themselves as the "educated party". Now we have all of these brainless college grads thinking "oh that means me!" As they quickly fall in line and do as they are told.

Expand full comment

I’ve said this exact thing for years. Education is not an indication of intelligence. It only shows you can regurgitate what a person, in authority over you, has taught you.

Intelligence equals curiosity. Curiosity is a much better teacher.

Expand full comment

But it’s true, most Americans are at the 8th grade level, including lots of men! Think about that and wonder how we ever have good relationships. No not equating intelligence with education as much as respecting the combination of rational thought with great native skills. That comes from experience, reality and some book learning. Or online these days. Never think you are done learning. I have a friend who only finished high school was a bar tender for years and she is quick, smart, well aware of current events and I really love her. So quick to categorize people.

Expand full comment

Let me ask you this; if MOST Americans are at an 8th grade level, what is the point of high school? How many jobs offer employment without a high school diploma or GED? Why are we paying property taxes for schools that are failing fully? If the taught statement that, Most Americans are only at an 8th grade level, is true then why are we keeping the kids till 12th grade? How many private corporations could continue to function and receive funding if they functioned well below their expectations? There are plenty of people who are illiterate and statistics show it’s in low income minority areas. It’s not the entire US it’s not even most of Americans. Look around, most Americans are at work. They are functioning members of society. These statements are usually focused on underfunded areas with low parental participation in education. Maybe I travel so much and meet enough people from all walks of life, it’s easy to realize the elitist statement is incorrect and broadly offensive.

Expand full comment

I don’t equate education with intelligence since our history shows us that the building of societies and infrastructure was performed by handing down skills through practice. Most people did not read or write but they could perform their trades without that knowledge. It was in modern society to increase voting blocks that public education was pushed. After the Industrial Revolution and the implementation of the New Deal and banning child labor the big corporations wanted to train up more factory workers educating them to think and work how these elites wanted.

I’m not opposed to advanced education, what I am opposed to is predatory lending and theft by the institutions. I’m opposed to government backing of these loans which has created a huge financial mess for a lot of highly educated people. This puts them into indentured servitude to their debt. Now they’re forced to adhere to awful working conditions where predatory union leaders creep up. I’m opposed to the issuing of degrees to students who will never find a job at starting wage that is more than the degree cost itself.

Expand full comment

In my mind it is the person who has realized their own best skill set and run with it. That leads to satisfaction. I may be university educated but I have lived in the real world. I get that.

No, just the continuation of indoctrination. I’ve gone through the college system and there are huge issues with the liberal indoctrination system at these institutions. A great Professor out of Portland, Peter Begolia ( spelling may be wrong) speaks on the issues. I highly recommend his YouTube channel and see what a professor says about the topic. It’s quite interesting.

I worked my way through Jr. College while living with my later on husband…we hardly got by but we managed with my art skills and his welding ability to graduate with no wasted credits and no student loans. We got teaching credentials. It was ideal life/work balance for us.

During our college years did we party, go to socials or bars? No. Were there extravagant trips to lovely locals with fellow students during breaks? No. Did we live on campus, No. (it was a quonset hut) Was it hard. Yes. Do I get the fact that some people assume if you have a degree you are stuck up and detached from reality? Yes. Don’t judge. We weren’t indoctrinated. We didn’t spend much time on campus.

Expand full comment

You sounds like the average American! Most people in the real world are not stuck up. I am specifically stating the college campuses are the hot spots for indoctrination today. I’m not sure where and when the colleges changed to a business model, away from the education model.

Now that the student loans are backed by the government, it seems that their acceptance rates increased exponentially along with cost to attend. This is allowing everyone in regardless of whether the degree will help better society or just enrich the college.

The architecture of the Notre Dame and other cathedrals were built by men who didn’t read and have advanced degrees yet they produced some of the most exquisite architecture our society has seen. Society doesn’t need college campuses, we need to bring back generational development working with parents and following families talents. China is losing their own crafts that have been around for millions of years because we are removing the children from the homes and into schools ignoring the damage it’s doing to passing on their crafts in building. The world is losing their culture to the current education system and all we are getting is poorly built buildings and low birth rates. We are faulting as a society and need a change.

At one point in California we had an ROP program that linked high schools with real job training. Credits were earned this way and apprentices happened. I don’t know what happened to that program but we need to embrace career starts in high school, esp. for those gifted with their hands. I am highly in favor of free two year Jr. college for everyone. So much more growing up needs to happen. You can’t these days turn an 18 year old out into the world with no skills. Just a recipe for disaster. We need to make sure these people learn history and civics so they know their power. It’s going to take decades to reverse the trend that turned shop rooms into athletic training studios. That is great for the PE department but how many kids does it train for the future? People who know how to build, do woodwork, fix things….they are a rare breed and we need them more and more.

The trades program funding was removed in the late 1990’s early 2000’s. I loved those classes and was very disappointed they ended them. I agree with you about setting our kids up for success by putting them into community college. I think there will need to be strong boundaries on the free schooling. It must be a licensing program for a job or a degree/certificate that will transfer to the 4 year. I met a lot of people who take the free school money and waste it on classes that will never equate to a job of any sort. My home town’s community college offers free tuition, the graduation rate has not increased at all. The drop out rate has not improved but the registration has increased.

In my experience in the political science field, the colleges are ideologically captured by the political left. The assigned reading were all left leaning works, anything that went against the lefts narrative, was deemed far right propaganda. I had to fact check using the White House archives for executive orders, the professor who was blatantly lying about the amount of executive orders Trump signed compared to Biden. Another professor explicitly bad mouthed the United States, bragged about being a socialist and that his polling company was responsible for the universal mail in voting in our state. Gleefully bragging about his party now has the super majority and it was all due to his polls. Another incident with a professor who was overseas and had never been to the United States, this one argued about the nuances of our elections. Stating all republicans are nazis and fascists. These are my personal experiences from 2021-2023. This is what I mean by liberal indoctrination, they’re using the political ideology to shape the beliefs of the students rather than to challenge them to think. We were told to never investigate a journalist, they did all the work, just listen to them. That’s not education that’s Indoctrination.

And to all of those who say Bobby's relatives are against him, Bobby 3 is his biggest fan. His campaign manager Amaryllis is his daughter-in-law. He has over 100 relatives. I'm sure Kyle has some interesting stories about him.

I also love seeing Emily's articles coming up! It's so fun to witness you assemble your own team from the familiar faces we've met through your stories over the last year or two.
