I think we need to step back and look at the lawfare warfare from these radical Leftists- this battle isn't just about RFK Jr. or Trump - it's a message to everyone outside of their inner circle - we'll destroy you and keep you from campaigning if we view you as a threat. It's up to all of us to give these parasites the middle finger and show up for our preferred candidates. Marc Elias and Reid Hoffman will continue to fund these lawsuits, let's squash these two cucarachas🪳

Cheney and Bush both lived in Texas so Cheney became a resident of Wyoming lol - not sure how far in advance you need to make the change but again a technicality if in fact rfk had been paying taxes in New York!

This particular post is about Kennedy's residency in New York - if that is in fact his main residence, it nullifies the California issue. Kennedy is a devious dude, surely he has his paperwork in order, Shanahan is a smart lady - I expect they're prepared for whatever legal battles they'll be facing.

Marc Elias and Reid Hoffman are demons. They are funding the lawfare warfare.

And as this conversation has already taken place when they discussed Trump and a possible Rubio ticket, one candidate simply changes their residency. And in trumps case he has multiple homes. Kennedy may also own property in multiple states so it wouldn’t be hard to switch. This is not a serious constitutional issue as you are portraying it. “Democracy is not at stake”.

Attorney Robert Barnes has stated that Bobby's main residence is New York. That's where he has his driver's license, his law license, where he votes and where he files his taxes - Barnes is friends with RFK Jr. and has access to this information. It's a nothing burger.

I am so sick and friggin tired of the DNC.. They are the most corrupt estabilshment ever, yet NEVER called out on any of the criminal BS they do.

It should be up to the voters, whether or not we care which state he resides in, or to what degree his roadkill collection bothers any of us. They're clearly terrified of him getting on the ballot.

It’s in the constitution. The voters can vote to amend the constitution via who they elect to the house and to Congress. We don’t and shouldn’t make changes to the constitution just because of a single presidential candidate who is attempting to circumvent the rules.

I was born and raised in the tri-city area of upstate NY. My family has been there since the dinosaurs roamed the earth lol. It’s a challenging place to deal with the law. There are too many rules and regulations. However we all live in a day and age where many people of means have numerous residences. There is nothing wrong with that. It comes down to where you claim residency and how you files your taxes. If he is doing so as a NY resident then there is nothing left to discuss. This is just another distraction.

THIS!!! Agreed!! My mom had a couple residences and her permanent/voting address was where she paid her taxes.

Thank you for this. Bobby definitely entertains!! At this point If I make a decision to vote for Bobby, and he is kept off the ballot because they claim he is not a New Yorker, I will write him in. Stupid that this is even an issue. That being said, I would have thought he and/or his campaign people would have thought of this and made sure all these little details were taken care of. The DNC is crappy. I do not care who you want to vote for, but stop already with the stupid dirty shitty tactics and just tell us what you are going to do IF you win... POLICIES people. NOT ONE PLATFORM/POLICY on Harris website. Not ONE word in 16 days. I can read on Kennedy's and Trump's website what their policies are/will be, but not Harris. Probably because she has not decided what her policies will be or she flip flops too much to put them in writing. Or if they are in writing she could be asked questions about them and she wouldn't be able to answer them cuz she doesn't know the answers.

I am sorry you could not be there to experience it in person, but that is okay. You can inform us of the next big adventure with Trump or Bobby.

The constitution specifies that candidates on a single ticket for POTUS and VPOTUS cannot reside in the same state. RFK Jr. and Nicole Shanahan both reside in California.

Paying $500/mo in rent does not make you a resident of the state of NY. He admitted himself it’s not even his furniture in the room.

Thank you for sharing Jessica! Love all your pieces! I still love Bobby! He’s smart, talented, and a genuine bad-ass. He’s a survivalist. I find him to be very appealing. The bear story is funny to me -keeping the bear for a pelt is smart 🤷‍♀️. And the staging part is just funny. Many politicians ( and people in general) have done far, far worse than that. It doesn’t matter to me where Bobby’s residence is, he should be on the ballot. I hope he wins.

New York courts are bullies and their court jester-mobsters are brutal especially about residency issues. Remember what they did to Kelly Rutherford and the loss of custody of her kids? (my daughter was one of her CA attorneys) NY took jurisdiction away from CA and it was all downhill after that.

I say this will all due respect but I'm starting to believe he's deliberately tanking and sabotaging his campaign in order to terminate it. Why would he ever talk about a dead bear after seeing how shooting a dog ended Kristi's Noems (probable) political career and any hope she had of being VP. It made no sense. I now believe RFK deliberately did this knowing in advance it would also be his exit strategy. The man is a lawyer and far from dumb. This made no sense from the moment it was announced. Whether he was controlled opposition from Day One or Trump has offered him something the entire thing now stinks. He had it all had he stayed on point - It's the Corruption stupid instead he started to talk about Heal the Divide? Seriously? People are fed up - he had everythng they wanted and needed. He had the experience AND the proven record. When Kucinich quit you knew something was up. His stance on Gaza and the Palestinian people was even more bizarre. It went against everythng he purported. So much for being HONEST and GENUINE! He's deliberately tanking!

I think that this is a really interesting take. I have a hard time seeing such an accomplished lawyer with likely very competent paralegals, executive assistants, etc. making what is essentially a paperwork and admin error/oversight. They knew that all of these documents and submittals would be subject to heightened scrutiny. Why not make sure that this was all airtight and err on the side of caution?

I think this is an interesting take, but I don't really see much evidence for it. Can you elaborate on what seems off to you? Where did he veer from 'staying on point'? In your perspective, where else is he 'tanking' besides this bear story?

RFK implied that he shared the bear story to get ahead of a smear campaign that was coming from the New Yorker. Fact-checkers had reached out to him to verify some points, and he decided to get his version out before they could turn it into something worse than it was. He could have done a better job explaining his plans for the bear, but I don't think the story is that weird, given his history of outdoor activities, falconing, etc.

I don't really see parallels to Noem's story - she intentionally shot her dog. Bobby was cleaning up road kill (caused by another driver).

For starters - I do not believe he ever had any intention of running for POTUS or he certainly would've done so previously - when he was also younger. That said, I do not vote never did nor ever will. Not only is the system completely corrupt - everything is, which I refuse to enable or support it. You have a better chance of changing the weather by farting than changing anything by voting. It's one of the greatest ruses ever told.

I say this because for the first time in my life I truly believed RFK Jr. could save what little is left of this Country. Coming from someone like myself, I felt that spoke volumes, right? He got someone like myself to actually believe there was still - a microscopic ounce of hope.

What escalated RFK Jr. to his present stardom was all the interviews - the ones he gave and conducted - prior to announcing. His popularity soared through the stratosphere. Words used to describe him were, HONEST, sincere, genuine and massively intelligent. No other candidate has ever shown to possess that magnitude of intelligence. Trump couldn't find his ass on a map. But he's also far from alone - Kama Lama ding dong could be his sibling separated at birth and lets not even talk about Obama - Bill Clinton said it best, the greatest fairy tale ever told. 57 States, Austrians have their own language. Seriously?

Bobby had it all, he talked about the massive corruption which really resonated and how he amassed such a following. You could dwell on that topic 24/7 and win the presidency because the system is just so corrupt and people are fed-up and livid. No one knows more about the intricacies of Washington than the Kennedys. Again no one else could compare with what he has. It's what set him apart from all the others. He also has name recognition.

When he began naming names of those he would terminate at some of the alphabet agencies - it was historic. He agreed, it wasn't the entire agencies that were completely corrupt and just those at the top he would eliminate. He talked about closing nearly 800 military bases throughout the world, and bringing them back home to protect our boarders and spending that money here instead. People are desperate to learn and hear the truth - which is what he conveyed. He exposed it.

Those two issues alone really resonated because he was also the only person capable of actually following through with it. Unlike most of these imbeciles that run for office, Bobby already had fame and fortune - there is nothing in it for him, the only sacrifice he would be making is the threat of being assassinated, just like his father and uncle for the same exact reason. Fighting and changing the corruption .

And then things went doolally tap. The shirtless workout video. Just exactly who were they pandering to? If you're looking to attract a certain voter - you bring in the son in. Conor who is not only devastatingly handsome but also dated Taylor Swift! Have the kid do the commercials - why he's supporting his father. But, stay on point.

All he had to do was stay on message he was the anti-corruption candidate and he would've waltzed into 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Explain everything he did prior to running for office. Covid and the vaccines. Explain in laymen's terms what goes on at the CDC and FDA. He educated all of us during Covid and is probably responsible for saving millions of lives by doing so. Again in layman's terms - explain how all these agencies have been captured and corrupted. People are desperate for the truth.

His greatest mistake continues to be the language he uses. The old Democratic way. Obama with his arugula salad. The constant figure quoting has become so redundant he can't even remember the numbers and comes off as anything but sincere. People don't say they're voting for RFK because of these stats he keeps using. When have you ever heard Trump quote any figures (albeit his poll numbers) Trump resonate because he's an idiot - who speaks their language. Look at the following he has exploiting the imbeciles.

Bobby has gotten so off message he has now blurred his entire imagine. The Heal The Divide is asinine. When someone finally starts to taper down on the corruption only then will they ever come together and heal this Country.

The worst thing he could ever said however was his stance on Israel. The Palestinians are the most pampered people in the world and they have no right to defend themselves.

Kate:

Regarding the bear - people don't hear the truth they hear what they want to hear. He elaborated entirely to much and came off being very defensive. Rather than play into the media - just like the corruption, he has to expose that as well. He actually did that in the opening of the movie about him. People will hear what the media tells them. Dead bear, but even worse, it was a dead cub. I understand what he tried to do, but he blew it.

Lambaste the media is what he needs to do. Do you see why Trump succeeds? Because he harnesses the anger. Every time they go after him he needs to be succinct and to the point. Turn the tables on the media - explain how they are in bed with Washington and how he knows - because, no one knows Washington better than the Kennedy's. Drive these points home - harness the anger. Over and over he needs to point out why they moved heaven and earth to destroy him. They know he's a threat to the establishment.

"It's the corruption stupid."

You see how Trump brought an electronic billboard to his PA rally? RFK needs to do the same. Show them the evidence. Nothing complex just articles that substantiate what he is saying. He always talks about proving him wrong. The two lowest forms of life in this Country are politicians and the media. Show them why!

Thanks for the thoughtful answers, BJ, though I still don't see where he's off-message. Because he took his shirt off? There was constant chatter in the political world about how old our candidates were. I took the shirtless content as him proving that he's different. He talks a lot about health, and how American's physical fitness has drastically declined in the past few decades. He seems to stay afoot with the current political/cultural dialogues. A lot of women loved it. I'm sure they loved his beach-day-with-Uncle-Bobby post too. It's humanizing to see him share his interests (even if presented as dumb thirst traps).

Unity has been a cornerstone of his campaign from the start.

He hasn't stopped pointing out corruption.

I think he quotes stats so much because every comment section is flooded with claims that he's just a spoiler, and no one believes a 3P candidate could win. Now he's on every ballot, and polls indicate he can win. No one else is talking about it, so he needs to.

I appreciate that he isn't fiery like Trump. I think Trump talks too much and has too much vitriol. I appreciate that RFK is even-keeled and treats others with respect, whether he agrees with them or not.

I think your comments could be great for his team to consider to help hone their message, but in relation to your original claim, I don't see the signs of him dropping out or slowing down. I still get the feeling that he's a decent guy who can do everything he has said he will. He'll put his head down and do the hard work, without the bombastic ego that needs to be on TV every day.

What the DNC and Biden Admin has/is doing to him is such a turn off. It’s inhumane and disgusting. Kennedy has obviously always been a New Yorker and the democrats finding loopholes etc is getting so old. Like is this the best way to win? When you employ tactics like this and your team sees you win on technicalities what kind of people have you surrounded yourself with?

"I didn't deserve to win it," says 24-year-old Fernández Anaya. "I did what I had to do. He was the rightful winner. He created a gap that I couldn't have closed if he hadn't made a mistake. As soon as I saw he was stopping, I knew I wasn't going to pass him."

Living off and on in other states doesn’t make you not a resident of another state. He might have been born in DC but grew up primarily in Virginia and New

York. I’m just not sure that someone like him really has a primary resident traveling as much as he does. He practices law in New York. His river studies are well documented regarding the Hudson. I think it would come down to where he pays taxes. Most of JH are now New Yorkers and Californians not living there but “living” there to avoid taxes. Seems like a technicality at this point since if he does pay taxes in New York I don’t really get it why they would do this other than to try and disqualify him.
