“It is my sincerest wish to all those in this courtroom and all those outside that this day brings a terrible chapter to an end.” - GM June 28th I arrive at the Thurgood Courthouse just before 6 a.m. to relieve the guy I've hired to sit overnight and secure a place for me at the front of the line—the only way to make it under such unpredictable circumstances and guarantee that my flight out to document a single day in court, does not end in vain.
The friends can be guessed at by flight logs & the circle of friends at the time- Trump, Clinton , Dershowitz , Gates & other scions of industry + political big wigs -whose names aren't as well known. White men with power - and perversions.
The reality that Ghaislane , a woman , is taking the fall , does bother me - I have a sympathetic view of her - regardless of if appropriate or not , I do.
The friends who were sexually involved with the girls will get away with it , and that upsets me beyond belief , while she will be behind bars.
Justice wasn’t served for all of the victims with Maxwell’s sentencing. All of the buyers are still out there and being protected. Release the names!!!! Thanks for taking us along on your journey, Jessica! Flawless writing, as usual. 💗

Thank you for your fresh perspective. No one should be satisfied with GM behind bars because, yes, she is a scapegoat for too many rich white men. She was not the last chapter of the book - she was just the beginning, but too many people have stopped reading.
I am so shocked that with all the victims talking of being “trafficked “ to others that nobody is demanding to know more… like a judge or someone on the side of the law w no skin in the game…(if there actually is anyone who hasn’t been paid off!🤷🏻♀️) I don’t know much about how the law works but it just seems so astonishing that nobody is calling them out on those comments…

Are the victims staying quiet for the money or their lives? Who’s to say what the real reason is?!? But whatever the reason we will never know the real truth.

She says "People can judge survivors and say we should have done more to speak out or that we should name more names. Doing so threatens a group of wealthy, well-respected powerbrokers with influential friends and lawyers trained to silence accusers." & "Several women over 17 or 18 who were abused by Epstein and Maxwell have stated that they were offered work as Victoria’s Secret models through a scouting agency run by Epstein’s associate, Jean-Luc Brunel. Both men were jailed on sex crime charges they denied and hanged themselves in prison while in custody awaiting trial" This instantly reminded me of your post days earlier regarding Victoria Secret: Angels & Demons Documentary. Fascinating!
