Such simple coverage, so well-done, so many good anecdotes and campaign-long key players woven in, so beautiful. Can’t thank you enough for covering him, so that people (esp women) everywhere can see more about what he really stands for. As always, thanks for being a gift
Love that you still went on the boat ride even after they took you off the guest list! It's so nice to see adults be adults and move past conflicts when possible. Your writing and spirit are, as always, top tier.
I was like, that is the stupidest move. Me pulling out of an event suggests lingering conflict where there is none. Though, I'm learning PR in professional settings are not always the sharpest.
That was a very insightful move. And for a split second I was transported to my teen years when I saw you there and thought, oh we’re not mad at him? As if I was supporting a scorned bestie. And in the next moment understood that this is so much more important and “they” are planning on us getting our emotions involved. But as I read recently, we’re making chess moves here. Not sending valentines. Once again, great work. Thankful!
I don’t know about you guys but I’m going to miss seeing Hayes on the road and getting kudos from his teacher. What an experience this has been for both him and Arlo.
Wow, thank you for including the vax testimony. My third child had a similar reaction, including the peanut + 12 allergies and I was bullied into thinking vax causation was nonsense. No accountability from the ped whatsoever. My last 5 children have not had a single one.
super proud of the platform that you’ve established to normalize “normal” journalism. as a mother and (mil spouse) saying some heavy prayers that DJT and his collective alliance wins and more importantly stays true to the promises they’ve stated. Can’t wait to see you blossom
I, like many women across the country, have felt deeply inspired, motivated and encouraged by the perspective you have brought these last few months! Thank you for your sincere perspective and frank words shared about these candidates. Weeks babe… you’ve got this!!
God forbid the MSM could say let's help and support the MAHA movement. Noooo never. It seems so common sense to want to clean up our food and water supplies. We can actually see FACTS--the rate of obesity in our children and the number of health issues like autism and allergies, which were so rare when I was growing up. The tribalism once again rears its ugly head. It's all too much for some to leave their team for a variety of reasons--their political affiliation is part of their personal identity and it aligns with their family, friends, and community. In short they don't want to be ostracized. When I asked my liberal leaning friend about the new Cheney alliance, her response was that Trump is so bad that even Dick Cheney will switch teams. He's sooooo dangerous. Meanwhile Dick Cheney's Halliburton is profiting from our forever wars and wants to keep them going and Kamala is the perfect puppet to keep doing it. But Trump is the dangerous one who wants to make America healthy again. Are we living in the upside down world? No matter--I strongly believe Trump will win in a landslide. Thank you for taking us on this incredible journey with you! It's been one helluva ride. Looking forward to celebrating the end of this election season! Beautiful post! sabrinalabow.substack.com
Agreed that we need clean food and water. Unfortunately one party continually votes against industry regulations and regulatory enforcement in the name of “small govt”; I wonder how one reconciles this with the desire for a healthier populace and better food and water standards?
Is RFK going to MAHA by watching Trump scarf down endless Big Macs, Quarter Pounders with cheese and large fries? Maybe RFK should work MAHA on his new boss before he tries it on anyone else. Or not.
This entire article is why I support RFK Jr. He’s for us. He’s spent his life seeing sick people, through no fault of their own, at the mercy of the FDA and other govt agencies.
It’s not just children with vaccine injuries. My husband was convinced to get a Shingrix vaccine last October. He’s been covered in what looks like chicken pox since then. Doctors refuse to put on paper that he has a vaccine injury, but they’ve all said it to him. It’s been a nightmare. No one should be given these shots.
As a mom to a kiddo with type 1 diabetes and specific issues most likely related to me being prescribed narcotics whilst pregnant ( I was young and in pain) I am so hopeful to see change. We didn't do certain things to our children because of our family history of type 1 but unfortunately the damage is so deep in our bodies and the toxins so hard to run from. Our children deserve better and so do we. Thank you Jessica, for the way you bring such straightforward answers and Mama heart to the discussion.
I also have a TD1 kiddo as a result of Covid (virus not vax). If you aren’t already following a low carb/high protein diet for your child (and avoiding grains/starches), I would encourage you to look into it. My son has had a 5.2 A1C for several years now and we are able to avoid crazy highs and lows (and diabetic complications). I’d be happy to chat more with you if you’d like a recommendations for groups who manage this way. (Also we use R insulin, lantus, humalog, all in small amounts).
Thanks for sharing. We've been at this a long time so we are pretty content. I've seen a huge uptick since covid and it's just heartbreaking 💔 I'm glad you found your path 💙💙💙
I really enjoyed this article. The fighting spirit you have is something I’m not sure I would’ve pressed on with considering the “ON” event.
I’m glad you did. I think it really shows the tenacity we always knew you possessed which is why we are here with you. In general, we get so caught up in newness of “people” we also forget, they are exactly that, people. None of us are perfect. Yet, when we put someone on a pedestal and when, bc they will, they make a mistake it can be gut-wrenching. It’s what people do, for some it’s just how big is this mistake going to be and what is it going to cost you/them? Often it’s a learning lesson we didn’t know we needed. Thank you for pressing on!
Robyn’s story of her baby’s rash brought to mind my own daughter’s rash story. I didn’t know it at the time, but she had these very same symptoms. Her little body was covered with a painful rash. I felt horrible but had no clue why. Now I do.
I refused all shots for my daughter’s after those initial 6-7 of the 90’s. Sadly my oldest is giving all the shots to my two grandsons. The baby has been sick more than not sick his 3 years of life. Hurts my heart.
Trump wants to deregulate all of the minimal regulations we have right now on food sources. So those corporations would be able to put whatever they want in our food, not less of the bad things. This is a trick, to bring in the Bobby crowd, and y’all are all falling for it. And if Trump wins, you’re gonna have way more issues with food than we do now. Farmers will fail, and corporations will be allowed to do whatever they want. But y’all have fun with those green hats.
Small farmers are already failing because of the current economy. An elderly couple in my family had to stop raising cows for personal consumption because the cost of feed became too high. Inflation + living on fixed income is completely unsustainable. The American people are worried about feeding their families, and MAHA is worried too. Can’t say the same about all candidates…

Thank you for caring. And noticing that "simple" is a style. Xx

So grateful and hopeful and glad you're covering more about vaccines and injuries. Parents need to know the risks and ask more questions.
I don’t know about you guys but I’m going to miss seeing Hayes on the road and getting kudos from his teacher. What an experience this has been for both him and Arlo.
Gosh, you can say that again!

After the election!
Thank you Meg! xo

Thank you Jenn. That is so nice of you. We've got this!

Today was a cheat day. MAGA will have cheat days and then MAHA will kick them back in line.
My money is on the cheat days prevailing.
When has anyone ever kicked Trump back in line? 😂

Well done Jessica. MAHA!

We must vote for MAGA / MAHA.

This comment isn’t going to age well, methinks.
MAGA+MAHA=Win for us! Thanks for taking us along, shaking us up, collectively and MAKING US CRITICALLY THINK AGAIN! Bravo 🇺🇸
Robyn is great! Fantastic read as usual.
Yes, she is! I'm so grateful this campaign brought her into my life.
