The three hour long Joe Rogan episode featured a freshly masculine Zuckerberg, promising listeners that the next God will not be decided by Artificial Intelligence. "More voice is the answer on this."
I watched the podcast, and throughout the entire almost three hours, I was bickering and arguing with him as if he were in the room with me while I was folding laundry and watching him lie. He spoke from both sides of his mouth. He was not prepared at all, and he still pushed that the COVID vaccines were more for the benefit of health than anything else. I think he can’t read the room, any room. He didn’t have a sense of moral standards one way or another.
It was gross. And totally shameful on Rogan’s part. After doing a song and dance for an hour about the difficulty Mark had regarding “fact checking,” Zuck said, “Still on balance, knowing everything that we know now, I still think it’s good for more people to get the vaccine.” Rogan countered with an argument that everything was censored in favor of one solution — the vaccine, at the expense of all therapeutics and data. While that is a good “argument,” anyone with balls would have asked Mark, Can you tell me how graphene oxide injected into the body helps us? How do self assembling nanobots assist in disease prevention? What about all the people dropping dead in front of our eyes?
I understand you completely, but hear me out for a moment. Take this mental trip with me, ready? I hold no blame or any ill will towards Joe Rogan at all. I think sometimes people set expectations for him because he has such a huge following and then when expectations are not met, people are upset. I’ve been listening to him for years. He doesn’t proclaim to be a journalist, an independent press professional or an investigator. He’s a dude who loves hunting, science and talking to everyone to understand them. He is humble and he has consistently since his very old episodes claimed that everyone should do their own research and never marry an idea and he is just out here having conversations, period. He is what free speech should be, see what I mean? Be it Lex Fridman, President Trump or his comic friends, he’s Rogan, he likes to have conversations. Anyway, my 2 cents. Thanks for taking this trip with me through my thoughts. 🫵🏻
I agree that he didn't appear to have studied the COVID vaccine research and, therefore, still doesn't understand what infomation he was censoring and the huge impact of that decision.
His actions are still speaking, louder than his words. Bottom line until House inhabit has all of her Instagram account running completely. He’s not doing squat. Pinocchio.
I’ve been thinking about how young Zuckerberg was when he started his company and how much pressure he must have felt during COVID. He’s still young, and the pressure put on him by the government was likely terrifying. I have no doubt that no one in his immediate circle, not even his wife/pediatrician—was truly in his corner when it came to addressing the complexities of vaccines and COVID policies. Now he’s coming out in support of free speech, but at a much more convenient time.
Contrast that with Elon Musk, who came out and took a stand at a time when it didn’t benefit him (hindsight is 20/20). Same as when he bought Twitter (which at the time was considered the worst and dumbest investment of all time) Trump hadn’t even won, and there was no clear advantage to the role he took on but Musk still had the confidence and courage to try and change how the world receives and processes information. That’s something far more impactful than anything Zuckerberg has done so far to change his image and yet republicans continue to bash Musk. If I were Zuck - seeing loomer and others treatment of musk isn’t exactly enticing.
Musk runs his life and business fearless - I really respect that. While Zuckerberg seems to run his company in fear, shaped by the pressures around him.
Right now, we’re in such a difficult place in America. Instead of bashing people like Musk or even Zuckerberg, I feel we should be supporting those who are trying to stand up for freedoms like free speech and access to information. The fights over vaccine policies, pharmaceutical companies, and corporate control impact all of us. We need to work together and back those who are willing to push against these systems, instead of tearing them down.
It’s such an enormous battle ahead of us —-
Newsom - now that is a person I can’t or never will get behind he is the devil! 😈
So is Zuckerberg, you forget he donated $430mil to the 2020 rigged election. If there was a slight chance that Mrs Harris stood a chance The Lizard would have been in her corner misinforming us at every turn about Trump and the Republicans.
So true - sometimes I regret listening to these longer form podcasts cause then I start to see the more human side of them and wish I could go back to just my pure hate for all of them including Gates, Tim Cook (still holding to DEI policy and his monopoly of “privacy”) and even Bezos for killing small and medium business with is insane business model that only benefits large Chinese companies.
I respect your stance but for fuck's sake, he was not a 15 year old kid. He had access to literally anyone he wanted. He chose his road and is responsible for much evil and yes, death. I question his about-face and don't believe he's sincere. I think he is still a nerd who will suck up to anyone he deems as being the closest to the next Big Man On Campus so he can sit with a slightly higher caliber of geek at the lunch table.
True, Zuckerberg wasn’t 15—he was 35 at the time of COVID. Listening to the Rogan podcast gave me a fuller understanding of the global involvement and sheer scale of what he was managing. The numbers, the reach, and the implications across so many countries were enormous, and it’s hard to wrap your head around the logistics of running a platform that big during a global crisis.
That said, I absolutely don’t agree with how he handled the censorship. I hate the way it was managed and the decisions made during that time. However, I can now see more clearly just how much was involved, the time constraints, and the pressure of trying to balance everything. While I still disagree with his approach, I do have a better understanding of what he was up against - even just from a numbers perspective.
On another note - after listening to the podcast and then reading through the transcript I started wondering if the actual intent of the interview was really about Apple. I think he was trying to call Apple out - anyone else?
I notice in his letter to Jim Jordan he says he seeks to promote speech for everyone… he DOES NOT refer to it as FREE speech. Nothing has changed, and he is still willing to silence dissent from the narrative.
Ka-Ching. It’s all about building wealth or just wanting to position oneself to benefit the most. Even citizen journalists are guilty. Greed leads to ultimate collapse. Just watch. It’s happening.
I do not trust anything out of his mouth! I'd rather hand my information over to China then Meta! I mean, my facebook and instagram accounts are the only ones that ever show me adds for things I was just talking about, and they are the only social media platforms I have that have been hacked. So strange.
Great read on the politics and the deceptive behaviors. But in regards to the hair… coming from someone with natural curls, I think he’s got curly hair problems. My 15 yo son has absolutely no idea what to do with his curls and they look exactly like Mark’s. This is the curly hair pattern - it is what it is 🤷🏻♀️ What can he do, straighten it? Trust me that would be way worse 😂
It's hard enough for most people to admit when they've made a mistake. When someone has everything on the line, I can only imagine how impossible that must feel. I went through something similar - I was silenced by close friends back in 2020. It wasn't public or about money, but it still hurts that these friends will probably never admit what they did. I've learned to live with it as long as it doesn't happen again. Time will tell if Zuckerberg means what he's saying.

Due to his platform, I believe, he holds a higher responsibility to humanity.
Don't forget if he strays too far, they will cancel him one way or another, so one has to play the game to a degree.
True
Agree
Zero morals, he is a slimy lizard in fact I’m insulting lizards!
I agree that he didn't appear to have studied the COVID vaccine research and, therefore, still doesn't understand what infomation he was censoring and the huge impact of that decision.
Yet here we are - moms / wives / Nanas and we knew. We got it by common sense. He does not get a pass.
CORRECT
🎯
His actions are still speaking, louder than his words. Bottom line until House inhabit has all of her Instagram account running completely. He’s not doing squat. Pinocchio.
Here’s the thing about the super nerd. They truly believe that the rest of us are stupid. Back in the locker you go sir. We’ve had enough.
This is funny!
*joe rogan not roe rogan (title)
Well, with the election of Trump, how far from the truth is that?

The perm nerd talking about masculinity; that’s hilarious.
Can he change a tire?
Can he change the oil?
Can he grill a steak?
Can he use a chainsaw?
Can he start a campfire?
He is rich. He doesn’t have to do those things, but can he??
He can curl his hair but naw that guy can NOT change the oil, no way in hell 😂
He can't even work a toaster
Nope i don’t think so he is a schmuck!
he looks like Elton John & Paul Simon did something weird in a laboratory and came out as him.

He’s Napoleon Dynamite all grown up to me. 🤣
Haha omg yes THIS IS GENIUS😂💯🙌

Zuckerberg changes like the wind. I wouldn't trust him or Musk

Maybe grow it out longer and man bun it! 😆
Same with my boys. We tried Brazilian straightening treatment and it didn’t work. No idea what to do with it.
I wouldn’t trust this prick until the end of Trump II.
Wouldn’t trust after Trump 2 either.
This reminds me of my ex telling me he’s changed
Right lol

When someone has everything on the line, they are even more likely to say what they need to save it. Don’t ask me how I know.
While zuck is hypocritically pointing the finger at biden, etc., here is who he REALLY bows the knee to!!
