Another fun activity, this is where many started seeing "the light", including me. Is to go to or even watch a Trump rally from start to finish without ANY media commentary. (I suggest going, the energy, love and positivity is intoxicating). Make your own decision about what was said... then go to MSNBC, CNN, and all the others. Their relay of what was said is so nauseating incorrect. Its the best way to find the truth. (Trump is not perfect we all know this.. some of what he says is still cringey but not as bad as the media portrays).

This conversation is about private citizen trump being charged with 34 counts of first-degree felonies. What someone else might be doing/guilty of has no bearing on THIS issue - no more so than any other crimes being charged concurrently.

I cannot imagine how one puts aside all the verified, horrifying details about that guy. He hasn't done ANYTHING he claimed he would do - no wall, no jobs, no nothing. He talks and that's it. In addition Biden authorized our military to fight in Ukraine, this constitutionally requires an ok from congress. Biden never received.

This was a super fascinating read, as where I am in Florida, the Trump supporters are mostly just outrageous. I remember in college, they showed up to a small, non-advertised college student protest in military grade outfits, etc, with weapons and everything. They ended up pulling a gun on some of my peers and the police tackled and arrested them, and on the news you see me frozen like right in front of them. Granted, college kids are some of the most vocal and yet uncertain of actual info. It wasn't even a Trump protest, but they all came with MAGA gear, etc. I think all of this is just to say that I'm glad that it wasn't worse - I always have heard and experienced the really ugly side of it all.

My mom met Trump while staying at the Doral in 2012. She said the same thing about his treatment of the staff. They were doing construction there and he greeted every worker at the construction site personally and then walked out to the driving range and spoke to every person there as well. She said he was very polite and kind.
It was interesting hearing what the hotel industry / staff thinks of a politician. Something that doesn't get much news. It sounds like your mom caught a glimpse too, of how close he is to his workers. This guy told us he takes them all around town and to many of the fancy spots too.
