I don't know who is mad about her clothing. if I had that much money, i'd spend it on the same stuff. and face creams. and lasers. and travel. I get it, Gwen.

I totally hear that!! For ssssooo many years that was me(and at my core will always be). I still have my very first pair of Doc ‘s !! I bought mine in 1988 and I still wear them to this day! I know I just dated myself, but am fine with that.

When you go to buy a new pair of boots I totally recommend Gripfast boots. They are much better quality than the new Doc Martens and about the same price!

No, you made the comments on the doc marten alternatives, right? I was serious. I looked them up.

I really did just buy Docs a year ago and I feel like (like most things) aren’t holding up as the old ones. Like my stupid rainbows

I bought a new pair of Docs last year. I compared them to my old pairs, and they looked like clown shoes. The quality is definitely lost. The new pair was returned.

My puppy chewed up all my 90’s Docs and I was considering buying some new ones and now I’m hesitating!

IMO ...buy Gripfast instead. I honestly think at this point Gripfast Boots might need to be paying me. Haha. Full disclosure...they are not, I just love their boots. I have a pair of steel toed oxbloods that I have worn almost everyday for 8 years that I wouldn’t trade for the world.

I was always baffled by Winona shoplifting. I don’t remember ever hearing why she did it. Surely she could afford any and all of it. Was it just for the thrill?

Another great article, quite fun, thank you Jessica.

I read somewhere about drama between her and Gwyneth believe it or not. G found a script in W’s bathroom and then won the screen-test... I believe W’s breakdown happened after.

I read somewhere that she had a long-standing problem with shoplifting. I don’t know if that is true though

Not criticizing last month’s “Sunday Style Files” , but I thought this was much more interesting. This is just my opinion....nothing more, nothing less. It says a lot about how women try to present themselves when being judged in a court of law compared to being judged in a court of public opinion.

On the outside, GP’s entire background is one to envy. Born into Hollywood royalty (Spielberg as her Godfather), raised with high class privileges, pretty by society’s standards, loving parents, private schools, traveling all over the world, dated the hot guys (Brad and Ben), became a movie star, married a rock star, the list goes on. Those things are unattainable, maybe the biggest reasons for not being likable. But who knows what happens behind closed doors with people. Like getting sued by the guy who ran into you on a ski slope three years before.

"Trial is theater after all." So 👏 very 👏 true!! I tell my clients this all the time. Like a play, so much action takes place off stage. You want the play to only feature the events your story requires. Excellence as always!

I love today's very creative theme of "Courtroom Chic."

What separated MsTurd from the other courtroom fashion examples and stood out among this group of petty schemers were her hair styles, which were made to coordinate with that day's testimony.

Ex: when she spoke to "her" jury about the constant horrific abuse she endured during her days with Depp, her hair was long, stringy and pulled back with bobby pins placed randomly in her untouched-by-a-comb coiffure. On the days which she spoke lovingly of her marriage, recalling how wonderfully she cared for Johnny, her hair was fluffed in innocent soft curls, many times a braid included for some modificatioin. Her hair moods kept me watching!

As for FishSticks, her leaning over to whisper in the plaintiff's ear as she exited the courtroom to say "I wish you well' was a prickly way of spooning him with her Stocklis. So Goopy.

1MBD case? GP’s outfits were so her and the Hollywood aristocratic face expressions on point for her reputation- I did google those boots asap once I saw them 😂.

James Egan dressed the best in that courtroom and the judge seemed lovely. Loved the court fashion flashbacks
