Great piece. I want to opt out of this AI robot fueled insanity. Is there anywhere that is Amish like but maybe 1990’s instead of 1890’s? Le sigh.

I’ll tell you where to find the Amish, they are helping build tiny homes for my childhood friends and family in the mountains of western NC, in Yancey, Mitchell, and Avery counties. The WOMEN are helping, not just the men, and they are a true marvel to behold ❤️

Thank God they’ve come to help. I’m disgusted by our governor’s lack of assistance and the enforcement of the inspections of the tiny homes. It’s below freezing & the tiny homes are sitting empty. America needs to raise hell about what’s happening here in NC

After the utter failure of the current (Dem) administration’s disaster response to North Carolinians & complete abandonment by their State officials, WHY did NC elect ALL Dem’s (down ticket from Pres) to manage their State?

That picture caught my attention but I never read anything else! Just kidding, I read it all.

My family is from southern Indiana. We sold our family farm to the Amish sometime in the 90s. We always went to visit them in the summers and they showed us around and mom and dad always said "put us to work."

They are amazing people and I always joke and say "I'm going Amish." They've always gotten it right. Family, Farming, and Faith. Something our culture needs a whole lot more of.

100% with you - great article and I would like to opt out as well!

Some of the Amish are much more modern than you might think. Did you read about how many of them turned out to *VOTE* for Trump? 🤯 And I think if we could really understand the importance of community over government and/or for profit “care”, like the Amish and Mennonites, we’d be in a much better place altogether. I’m in!

“And what about those poor kids — wandering the halls of that big sparse estate wanting a sandwich, but dad is in Tokyo with a naked lady dodging lawsuits and shopping for luxury cars, and mom is in the driveway making love to the new family robot”

Excellent read, as per usual. I literally laughed out loud when I read “And, of course, we have Kim Kardashian. I fear that somehow, no matter the trend or timeline, we'll always have Kim Kardashian. She's online again—in lousy lighting, molesting Elon's robots in a SKIMS ad proving nothing is off-limits to her overzealous, exploitative vagina.” I freaking love you Jess 😆

😂yea, agree Jess hilariously nailed that point home on KK. I think the fact of this long-standing worldwide obsession over her speaks volumes about humanity😵‍💫

Kim K looks like she's relieving herself on the side of the road. It's not remotely sexy. This is cringe personified--well not really. The reaction on IG was negative--thankfully. I'm seeing more and more of these Waymo driverless cars and robots on the streets. It's all too much! Maybe we do live in a simulation. I don't know what's real Jessica. I guess we just have to power on.

It’s mentally exhausting trying to distinguish truth from lies. As you said, you almost fell victim by reposting an AI of Elon. I think at the end of the day, all we’ve got is our gut, or as Candace would say, our women’s intuition. I think your gut made you double check that AI of Elon before posting. There is not much left that we can take at face value! #listentoyourgut

I have been retreating from society for a long time now. I only pop my head in to see what’s good by reading a little HIH from time to time. Then I metaphorically pull my readers down to the edge of my nose to shake my head in disapproval before heading back to my spacious and well lit hole🤓

Technology feels like a freight train right now... sure would be nice if society could pump the brakes for a second to ask some questions. We are told to just accept it as we sense a cliff on the horizon. My human nature tell me 'absolutely not.'

A deep dive on Elon's motives may help. Sorry I'm old school and a boomer for thinking humanoids are a terrible idea just on a surface level.... God only knows what's deeper.

It disturbs me that Kim Kardashian cannot see how horrible the stuff she puts out is and she has nobody in her orbit to tell her. That is just disturbing to me. Not one single person that might say "do you think this perverted sexualizing could be doing harm??? Nope they are all just like SLAY QUEEN. I'm down for starting an Amish inspired commune.

My late father used to warn me regarding news “believe half of what you see and none of what you read”. I am 48. I heard him say that my entire childhood and into adulthood. Those words ring true now more than ever. So thankful I was raised by parents who taught me to question everything. And I am so thankful I found you for my “news”. Without you and Tucker and Alex Jones, we’d be lost.

The only truth is Jesus, he says I am the way, the Truth and the life. Gods word is the only place we can find peace, hope and joy in this lost and broken world. I like to read your articles and if they start to stress me out(thinking about the state of the world) I go back to where truth can be found and rest in the promises of God. And thank him for being sovereign over all things.

Excellent post. I miss the normality and naturality of the 90s.

When I moved to the US in 2011, I was shocked by how much attention the Kardashians got. I was sure the Americans would get bored of them soon enough. Then Kim got together with Kanye and I thought, "oh dear, they definitely aren't going away now." Then they broke up and they still haven't gone away... I've conceded to the fact that they probably never will. Little girls want to grow up to be like a Kardashian. How did it go so wrong? What's it all about? Aspiration to overnight fame and fortune in a digital (unreal) world?

KK and the robots are a seriously dire state of AI affairs.
