That was fun. A nice light way to start this heavy day. I have a fondness for Christopher Crosses’ Sailing too. But it makes get a lump in my throat because it takes me back to 1979 when the world seemed and felt like a better place.
I'm sry but I can't get past the SNL sketches. Melissa McCarthy did one of the BEST impressions I've ever seen--ever! It's just too hard to take him seriously. I always wonder what kind of a person would want the job of press secretary. A masochist. I hope he is able to improve people's perceptions of him. In the meantime he's largely responsible for the success of Melissa McCarthy so we can thank him for that! Sabrinalabow.substack.com
I dont typically care about what politicians or celebrities say in a Q&A sessions, but the questions were good and his answers seemed honest, and personal (although I do recall he wasn't well loved for bending the truth behind the podium, maybe a job requirement LOL). Garnering insights from someone who was on the inside is always a treat even if they are one-sided, it is still a perspective that validates what we may have been thinking along! I do love Yacht Rock, but claiming to become a conservative because of the luxury tax MAY not be the best thing to admit. Again, he was honest so you have to give him kudos for that...
The questions are great! Great feature Jessica! But come on Sean, totally avoided answering question 18. Stop being a nothing salad and speak up. You will offend people and that’s okay. If nothing else, Jessica has taught us that!
Nothing to do with Spicer but we need a place to talk about debates. Democrats should be angry they were denied the right to vote for a legitimate candidate in the presidential primary. Now the party will just swap Biden with someone else THEY choose who not a single person voted for? This is Democracy in action ? Or Democrat-cy?
Interesting he cites truth multiple times, & trust yet when if comes to his career it’s been proven what a blatant lying sycophant of trump he was. “Became a conservative because of the yacht tax” ? Please. He needs to go back to school. Spicer is a professional liar nothing more.
It will be smart of Trump to wait on VP announcement, until Dems instal a Biden Replacement. How does it feel having your choice decided for you Dems… hummm maybe they rig elections too …
