Left. Right. This is what’s wrong with America. I’m old enough to remember when politics could be discussed openly, honestly & without hating the other person. Who cares if you upset people. The great journalists never led with apologies for what they said/wrote. We are divided because the media divides us. Just be free to speak your mind without fear.

I accidentally deleted my comment. Duh. Anyway, the evildoers want us fighting amongst ourselves. Then we’ll never gang up on them. There are so many republicans & democrats who were involved with Epstein! Many I suspect were blackmailed. Justice Department also. & Wall Street. They are supposed to be public servants. They haven’t worked for us in a long time. I’ve been registered every party through my life. I’m disgusted & disappointed with them all in Washington. If the client list had been made public, the landscape would be vastly different. & hasn’t anyone noticed mainstream media is controlled by their advertisers, mostly big pharma? I& it’s the largest lobbying group in Washington now, so it forces me to seek out alternative media sources.

AlexJones was/is right. After knowing what happens to the Clinton's "friends," he should be lucky he's still alive.

We are living through Revelations and are continually being manipulated through the legally lying MSM.

Rosalind McGill's avatar

Oh really? I think the elites are addicted to and Reno chrome. The trafficking going on with Americans open borders..

Amy's avatar

The fact that everyone is talking about Left vs right rather than what was just presented (Like TC or not) is the issue, I think. He just presented actual facts but people are debating politics instead. I'm not sure anyone would actually be able to disprove anything that was presented..Thanks for sharing!

JessieG's avatar

Peops get so triggered by the politics they can’t see straight

Mclare's avatar

Everyone does.

DiasporaOfLove.com's avatar

They're emm kaye uhltrud, that's why.

Holly Christensen's avatar

This is exactly what I was thinking. I was hoping to see people’s opinions of what was talked about, not about Tucker, himself. Or how left and right work in the US. But the questions he asked are questions the rest of the world need to ask, not just Americans.

Jessica Reed Kraus's avatar

Me too. I want to talk about what he uncovered. Not him. But immediately that’s where the focus goes. Which only proves my point in the disclaimer. People are more interested in defending their side than uncovering / discussing the truth .

This Days Bread's avatar

The most compelling thing he said for me was “We’ve pressed pretty hard, not because we have any special affection for Jeffrey Epstein, but we’ve pressed because... you don’t want to live in a country where it’s possible to murder people under federal lockup, cover up the killings, and then get away with it. That’s scary.” DUDE. 😳

Jane's avatar

Do you think G is in danger ???

Rosie Nerney's avatar

I feel like that’s the whole media agenda. Keep people so distracted & divided they won’t care about the truth or even be able to engage in critically thinking. They are so obsessed with winning, being right & the other being wrong, that people can literally murder someone and get away with it. Suits the powers that be really well! Imagine how much else they’ve got away with!

KELLYRODTS's avatar

Say what you will about Tucker, but he’s not afraid to poke ya in the eye. I used to never watch him and found him to loud, always yelling and red faced and irritating. Now he’s got the #1 show because he will say and go where others will not.

Rosalind McGill's avatar

For mainstream media, he’s great

MaceyMarH's avatar

And….he pulls in the viewers, aka ratings, so Fox loves him. Tucker pokes the bear, so to say, goes where other journalist fear. I give him props for that alone.

Rosalind McGill's avatar

Sad the mainstream media took hush money at the beginning of lockdown. Look into the “ trusted news initiative “, pure censorship!

Cathy Rodgers's avatar

Thanks for sharing! I am someone who probably wouldn’t have watched this otherwise (I don’t watch any major news channels), but everything he said makes a lot of sense. I definitely never thought he committed suicide, but I think the context Tucker gives around this case and how it’s being handled gave me a new perspective. I had mostly moved on to the idea that this will never be (publicly) solved, but didn’t think about the layers of how this case represents another example of how the government works differently for different people. I also think if you printed out a transcript of this clip and gave it to people without telling them who was speaking, they would almost all agree with what he says.

Jessica Reed Kraus's avatar

That’s a good point. I was thinking the video was quick and easier but you’re right.

Cathy Rodgers's avatar

Oh, for sure the video is easier! Just an observation/thought about it. I also think because he is Tucker Carlson, it also puts weight behind the remarks in a different way than if some random person made the same observations. As always, I enjoy your perspective and how you share information!

Bill Gate's extremely awkward, "well, he's dead,,,so,,, aww..." (9:29)

Mmmm.

Rosalind McGill's avatar

His wife divorced him shortly after that because public. I have a serious problem with bill gates.

MaceyMarH's avatar

Soooo much so. Bill G needs to stay in his own lane, computers & tech, mind his own business. Instead he’s diversified his interest & polarized himself. No wonder Microsoft just had to lay off hundreds of thousands of employees.

How ironic. One of the Board member's of the GatesFdn is Fauci... DeathFather of our time. Cozy.

Jane's avatar

I am hoping Jess does a deep dive on fauci and all the corruption around him one of these days. I know it’s not a fun as the Hollywood stuff but it’s so relevant to all the crap in the media these days

Rosalind McGill's avatar

The book the truth about fauci by Robert Kennedy, on audio books too.

Rosalind McGill's avatar

There’s a lot out there on him.

Rosalind McGill's avatar

& Fauchi’s wife… big circle of corruption, she should never be holding the job she has. Huge conflict of interests!

evh4ever's avatar

Someone needs to interview Epstein's brother and get his perspective if he is willing to give one.

Zoe Mitter's avatar

During this story I started wondering about JEs family and what their take on all of this, also why aren’t they pushing for more answers? Had they just accepted the story they were being told. I can’t say how I would feel if it was my brother involved and perhaps I believed him to be guilty, maybe I wouldn’t care how he died, but he still was my brother... family dynamics always are so interesting but it would really be great to hear from him.

Also, so far we are being told of the involvement of a few famous people but that there are others. Why are non famous people not being named as involved in the ring? Famous or not, they need to be held accountable.

SemperFiWifey's avatar

Tucker does amazinggg work!

✨Swinging Freely Through Life✨'s avatar

Am I really the only person who believes JE isn’t actually dead? Is that too far out? Too much of a conspiracy theory?

Jessica Reed Kraus's avatar

Definitely not alone.

Tonni's avatar

Nope. Not the only one.

MaceyMarH's avatar

Completely unsure if true & could obv be a rumor, but approx 1 month after his death , a group I belong who are very linked in, absolutely swore he was rushed out of the jail into a huge waiting black SUV in the mid of night. There were Sev black SUV’s lined up as decoy. Apparently he is living out his days in varying locales overseas. First, supposedly he was sent to Saudi Arabia. Additionally ; supposedly that is how the Feds eventually found G.Maxwell living in the middle of nowhere in NH. Of course I have NO idea if true. He could be on an island, or 6’ under? 🤷‍♀️

And GM, the pap pic of her reading a book at In n Out in LA is completely photoshopped. That was done as a ruse.

Hope White's avatar

Well, as a registered dem I often find myself wincing at clips of Tucker. However, I have the utmost respect for you Jessica so when you present me with information I will give it an open mind. Admittedly, it was difficult for me to click on the link at first. I even felt cringey with the Fox News logo on the bottom.

However: the information presented wasn't partisan or even remotely "a grab". It was concise and well explained. Definitely raised a lot of questions I never thought about. I didn't know they moved him, or changed him, or that they pumped air into him. I watch enough shitty jail / cop shows to know they handheld film everything. So, where are those cameras? Also, no one even talked to the other prisoners????

You'd think rather than burying it all and making it seem even more steeped in mystery and chaos that the feds would WANT what really happened to be aired out.

Anyway. Thank you, Jess, as always for your diligent work. It is much appreciated from this "lib" that everyone in the comments seem to hate so much lol

Jessica Reed Kraus's avatar

Thank you for sharing this honestly. This is exactly what I was trying to point out. And how I make an effort for everyone following here to consider what is presented (without political bias)

You help prove why I do. 🥂

Hope White's avatar

It's nice to have a place where our political beliefs aren't judged and information is presented freely so we as adults can come to logical conclusions without bias. I appreciate you so much. ❤️

Colleen's avatar

I applaud your honesty! You should check out TC’s monologue on the CIA and JFK. I think it was from a couple of weeks ago. He really does cover some interesting topics that others won’t.

Lauren's avatar

I'm a lifelong liberal who in recent years has swayed more middle and prefer to consider myself independent now. It's actually triggered a lot of personal growth and I am more open to hearing all sides before forming my opinion. Not the knee jerk reactions to anything that opposed my beliefs, as I did before. It was honestly hard to watch Tucker at first (I think I was afraid to agree with anything he said!) but he is the only one giving honest reporting on many topics and now I enjoy hearing his reporting. I really don't think that the 2 sides are all that different.. they just want us to think we are and strategically report with that angle.

I think anyone here who is triggered by Jessica's disclaimer before sharing TC maybe hasn't put themselves in uncomfortable situations by openly listening to the other perspectives. It's easy to defend your left/right beliefs but takes openness and curiosity to be willing to deconstruct that engrained response and consider other possibilities. I see anyone who's hating or doesn't understand why such a disclaimer would need to be said as still being entrenched in their "side". I applaud you for being open to watching and sharing your perspective 👏🏼

Mclare's avatar

Not all of your paid followers hate Tucker nor are left leaning. Had I known your political persuaion, I may have changed my mind on subscribing.

Jessica Reed Kraus's avatar

I have a mix of both left and right. Which is great. I don’t watch or follow Tucker closely, but I don’t mind him. I just know he turns liberals off.

I’m saying let’s give our attention to anyone who is willing to dig deeper. Regardless of what “side” you’re on.

Mclare's avatar

Yet, you "hate posting Tucker" because you'll offend your left-leaning readers. Had you wanted to give your attention to "all who wish to dig deeper," there was no need to mention your distain for Tucker. For that matter, if Tucker is so bad, why even include him in your item? WHY? Because he's good and deals in facts. AND, he's the ONLY person willing to put his neck about Epstein. As much as you're denying... you're catering to libs.

Jessica Reed Kraus's avatar

I can’t believe we’re arguing about the dumb Tucker disclaimer after I posted how ridiculous unnecessary political divide is 🤦🏻‍♀️

Jessica Reed Kraus's avatar

No, I’m Not. I’m simply explaining that bipartisan is a shame. I don’t hate tucker. I hate that people don’t like to hear different takes from posing party sides.

The fact that you’re even wanting to argue here helps prove the point.

Bad Sandy's avatar

I feel like you’re inching towards the other side of truth and you’ve been concerned about offending your left leaning followers and perhaps friends you have. I’ve seen you do this before like 🫣 “sorry guys...”. You’re a remarkable writer and reporter please don’t apologize and tiptoe around those you think might be offended.

Jessica Reed Kraus's avatar

I think You need to get past the disclaimer and just enjoy that the video was shared because of how brilliantly it exposes some big corrupt lies surrounding this death.

The majority of my audience is actually conservative. But I respect the liberals following here equally.

Mclare's avatar

Again, your item speaks for itself. A reply to a comment is not an argument.

JessieG's avatar

I get your point but your comment reads as pretty aggressive.

KELLYRODTS's avatar

This seems unfair. She’s not stating her political pov. She’s pointing out, rightly, that the left leaning main stream media remains uninterested in his wildly suspect death, his black book of elite pervs and other nefarious dealings. It’s one of the stories of the decade.

“All together now” seems like an appropriate theme for the majority of “news media” these days. If your unwilling to expand your news inputs in an effort to seeks truth over comfort, it’s on you. But not Jessica. She’s baking truth cookies and serving them hot. I suggest you take a bite and enjoy.

Mclare's avatar

I suggest you read the above item which Jessica wrote... again. Before you take a bite out of that cookie.

Brigit F.'s avatar

I like the fact that we can all have a difference of opinion on various topics but telling someone they shouldn’t write or say something out loud is more of that cancel culture (aka censorship) toxicity that’s infected western society worse than ever in the last 10 years. We have gone so far backwards, the 90’s was more progressive than this. It’s both terrifying and sad. Who cares if someone doesn’t like TC… don’t take it so personally, it’s not like you’re married to the guy..or are you?

Colleen's avatar

I completely agree that the 90’s were more progressive than now. For the past several years I kept trying to believe that we as a country weren’t going backwards, but indeed we are. We are so censored it is hard to fathom. I still maintain my 90’s sense of open mindedness and long for our society to once again embrace differences in thought and culture.

Mclare's avatar

Kindly show where I told "someone they shouldn't write or say something out loud."

It is YOUR interpretation that I took whatever it is you think personally.

Brigit F.'s avatar

🔝 “There’s no need to mention your disdain for Tucker”…

To add, free speech is a beautiful thing. I take no issue with you voicing your love of TC and defending him and/or his politics. I don’t agree with everything people say here either, but I do enjoy hearing what others have to say or what that feel about any number of topics. This is a wonderful space where people can talk freely…. enjoy it. We’re not here to offend anybody.

Mclare's avatar

"...there's no need..." is a continuation of a sentence. Reading the entire sentence, not taking words out of context, it does not tell Jessica what to write!!

Jessica Reed Kraus's avatar

You’re absolutely right.

Jane's avatar

Well, except Rachel hasn’t said anything truthful worth posting…🤣

KELLYRODTS's avatar

Rachel’s whole stick is attacking conservatives. When she gets into real meaty topics and presents a 360 perspective - then she’ll get my limited screen time. I watched CNN 24/7 for decades (and PBS) but it got soooooo lopsided and angry under Zuckerberg that I had to go elsewhere. Common sense dictated that I step away. Hoping they swerve back center and stick to news, not opinion.

Mclare's avatar

I actually disagree. It does not matter who presents the TRUTH. Jessica is writing on Substack, a forum for free speech where no apologies are necessary. I guess that is what bothered me the most re this item, the apology for including Tucker.

4th degree of momhood's avatar

Turns out, just as you said, Jessica can write as she pleases on Substack. Your complaint about how she approached posting TC would fall under the umbrella you’ve decided for her.

Stella's avatar

Tucker Carlson aside, I think it’s naive to believe any side of politics isn’t corrupted by power. That client list of his spans both sides. People that high up don’t even care about politics - they donate to both sides to hedge their bets.

It’s a shame that politics has thrown a veil over anyone that dares ask questions. I am left leaning - I don’t love Fox News. I did watch this segment and Tucker mostly did a good job in being factual and impartial. Things like this are hard to watch because you have to question everything you’ve ever believed in.

But it’s also absurd to think that both side of politics don’t have something to offer. This could just be about the Epstein ‘conspiracy’ but for me, perhaps more interestingly, this whole post of yours Jessica is about the fabric of society, where we at with our critical thinking and why we need to hang on to our beliefs so dearly.

Carleen Jansson's avatar

Just our government doing what it does best. Covering up. I don’t believe we will ever know the answers. I’m still waiting for the truth about the assassination of JFK.

Mclare's avatar

Recently read an item (it may have been from JStone) re JFK's death. The item stated that Nixon was booted after calling Helms to the OvalOffice to discuss JFK's death. Nixon said, "I know who killed John." Helms kept quiet and quickly left. Within weeks, Woodward was transferred from his high post in intelligence and placed at WashPost where he "exposed" Watergate, prompting Nixon's resignation. DS gave a more amenable Ford the job. OH... Nixon knew it was LBJ and CIA who did it.

Kamran Pasha's avatar

I want to present an even crazier theory to you, Jessica. Mossad faked Epstein's death and he is very much alive, sipping margaritas on a beach in Tel Aviv. When people say "Epstein didn't kill himself" they are even closer to the truth than they realize.

Jessica Reed Kraus's avatar

Hey, anything is possible!

Rosalind McGill's avatar

We’re not joking! Anything is possible.

SemperFiWifey's avatar

Never thought of maybe he's still alive! Crazy to think about! Ya never know these days...

Bethany's avatar

That was such a good video from Tucker, I’m glad you suggested it.

Mary's avatar

Can i get a story on ig of tc with Kenny g music playing?

Jennifer P's avatar

Tucker brought up some very plausible scenarios and basic questions that should have been asked back when JE was murdered/taken away. It makes no sense to me why no one questioned anything. From the possibility that another “inmate” killed him if he is dead. Maybe that inmate was put there specifically to kill him. The first incident may have been a trial run to the actual murder. Why someone who did not perform the autopsy could declare it a suicide. I could go on and on. It was very interesting.
