Wow. This is the most I have ever heard from a woman who had to endure this type of assault. It truly helped me understand so much more than I ever did before. God bless her and give her continued strength and courage and that she do all the things she has promised the judge. She deserves to find joy and peace in her life. I hope the judge is as profoundly moved by her statement as I would think anyone who reads it is.

Wow. Wow. Just wow. First, what a stark contrast between this womans’ testimony and Amber Heard’s! I want to actually applaud many of us who can discern between truth & lies🙏🎉 I am crying over this statement. Very powerful. Rape is a living death. I have empathy for anyone whose been raped. I’ve never experienced the crime but I am a woman & it’s one of my core fears as a woman that this could, can & does happen. The value & worth that she describes regarding human life is profound. I truly wish healing for this human and all of Harvey’s real victims. So many layers here...bc I feel some non-celebrity woman were the real victims and the Hollywood starlets know how to play & leverage sexual transactions to their benefit IF they’re groomed to follow such ways... I think JLaw was groomed and Rose M. was legitimately abused. Wow. Now I want the juice on JENNIFER SIBEL NEWSOM & her involvement with Harvey & Harvey’s investments into Newsoms’ campaign fund....thats the real story im looking at.

She's so right. Predators count on the public not being educated about victim psychology...and so many other things in our culture so they can keep doing what they do.

That was powerful! So powerful that I not only cried but somewhat left speechless and in awe over the raw facts and her moment to expose the vulnerability of herself. I felt it the most when she talked about being lesser than a drug charge and his choices leaving her with a lifetime of trauma. He gets a slap while she is left with the memories .. ‘the body holds the score’. This is something we trauma therapists use when we speak of behavior and symptoms that occur after experiencing trauma. She also spoke volumes highlighting that people feel there should be a specific way to act after a trauma. We all respond differently, our trauma responses vary and you may think you know how you will react but it may surprise you. Any way .. well done on this week’s post, Jessica! Important educational piece for your viewers.

Powerful. God Bless her and all the victims. She mentions his powerful presidential friends, the Obama's let their daughter intern for him. That would make him even more powerful to his victims.

Thank you for sharing her statement. I have learned so much about her description of what our minds go through with this kind of trauma. She is immeasurably brave. We have so much more to learn about the psychological impact of rape trauma. God Bless her and I pray she keeps healing.

As a survivor of sexual assault myself I was breath taken when she said

“I ask, that you can contemplate that rape is not just one moment of penetration, it is forever. Whether that rape exposes a victim to a lifelong disease, a pregnancy, injury, mental disorders – the impact will last a lifetime.”

It never leaves us. Even the strongest of us. Which I am thankful to believe I am. It’s always there. In the loudest moments of the day, or the quiet moments of the night. It’s there.

Thank you for being so brave.

I am so thankful that you shared this Jessica. It is such a powerful reminder to us, especially during this current trial that is seemingly not going the way any of us thought it would. No matter how good HW’s lawyers are, not matter how poorly prepared the young prosecution team is, and no matter how un-credible some of these Jane Doe’s are- we all must remember at the end of the day Weinstein is a monster who must remain behind bars for the horrific crimes he has committed.

She is so powerful - revealing with her words the utterly despicable nature of Harvey and other rapists. More people need to read this. Thank you for bringing it to light for us.

"Society pays to be entertained, and the value to escape life to be lost in the magnitude of incredible films this man produced, was too valuable a commodity to be stopped by the women he trapped, raped and assaulted."

Wow. Just wow. Bless her.

Wow!! What a powerful statement. IMO, this alone , without any other testimonies would sway any jury toward a guilty verdict. HW got away w/too much for way too long. How any defense attorney can defend him w/out guilt is beyond me. Wish the LA jury could see this, though realize these are 2 separate trials & are probably kept out of this LA trial & far away from juries eyes. What a shame. Hopefully justice is done.

Wow. Thank you for sharing this. She does a great job of explaining how he was allowed to continue to be a perpetrator. Shame on those who enabled him.
