Having been a model in the 90s this doesn’t surprise me. Most times you are treated like objects meant to bend and adapt and do whatever you are told. If you don’t have good, strong family support it’s easy to fall into traps of partying etc. to get close to people who could advance your career. In Milan especially the party promoter scene I saw a lot of girls get in trouble so I can imagine it get even worse for what I didn’t see because I didn’t get involved with all that. You didn’t get work if your booker or agency didn’t like you so pleasing them by showing up to parties, events, dressing a certain way etc is all part of that.
Karen Mulder was one of my favourites in the 90s - the most exquisite model. I wondered where she went and now I know what happened! Thank you Jessica. The poor woman.
Wow. Just sickening and sad. I can only imagine how much of this disturbing information you have to wade through before settling in on what to share with the public. I'm sure there's so much you've been told that either you can't share or don't have enough evidence to go forward with....I think I would have nightmares. I also think it's partly why so many close their eyes and ears to it. It's just too awful to believe but sadly it's the truth. How ironic that there's that famous line "you can't handle the truth!" ... by none other than Jack. If I read correctly in your article he MAY be knee deep in some of this?
Anyway, thank you again for another great article. Although very disturbing, the issue is very necessary and needs to be exposed with all the key players.

It's like Fame and Hollywood and Fashion are a "cult" and to be inducted in you have to play all their sexual games. How dark and twisted.
