To quote my favorite meme regarding the demise of the DNC is a portrait of JFK saying “ Democrats, what have you done to my Party?” . It’s true. And any principled politician who dares to criticize the hypocrisy of Democrats is immediately marginalized as a turncoat, BOT, corporate shill, blah, blah, blah… then the media piles on with their choreographed responses…but I do sense a small shift in people’s heretofore unquestioned locality. It is still awe-inspiring that you're hanging with her. This article should show people how honest and pure your reporting is, Jessica, in that you posted an unflattering quote from Bari, whom I believe you also respect. As you so, aptly pointed out Jessica, the reason we forgot people like her existed, meaning a person who went against the grain and stuck to her guns, is because she is a rare gem. Trump would be a fool not to pick her. If he does choose her, I think she will bring a lot of Democrats with her. The political system as we know it today is so fundamentally broken and corrupt , it’s difficult to see where someone like Tulsi gabbard who has a fully functioning mind firing on all cylinders can fit in , it always bothered me that she stayed in the democrat party but when she left even an ancient cynic like me raised a silent cheer , I think she’s incredibly brave taking on the might of the deep state who are going to fight tooth and nail to keep her at bay , She going to need a couple of fire breathing dragons ( game of thrones ) at her side , I wish her all the best

I was literally listening to her on Joe Rogan when I opened this. This might be my favorite article yet. I’m just discovering Tulsi, (thanks to my 32 year old son!) and am loving what I’m hearing and reading. Our country is at stake and she seems like a trustworthy person to lead.
With minimal effort you can revisit her formative years with extreme evangelist parents “saving the natives” in American Samoa. While her military service is admirable, her views are not. They’re an ever changing mash up of far right wing and evanaglist nonsense with a smattering of issues that echo with everyone. Not a person to be trusted with a McDonalds, much less a country.
