Kanye is sane. He has very valid talking points, but he just happens to go against the grain of mainstream Hollywood thinking, so he’s branded at ‘crazy’.
It’s ok to not agree with everything a person says and still like them as a person. In today’s polarized society, having civil conversations and listening to each other’s opinions with open minds, without arguing, and eventually agreeing to disagree and part ways still having respect for one another, is a rarity and it saddens me to my core.

Thanks Jessica for this update. In all honesty , I can’t help but to pull for Brad, I went to college w/him at MU in the 80’s. He was a Sigma Chi & my sorority sisters & I hung out w/he & his friends all the time. I still keep in touch w/Sev of his fraternity bros. In fact, ironically now neighbors with one. In college he always had dreams of Hollywood , but it went in one ear & out the other. Back then he was adorable, but very skinny. For years he kept in touch w/many Sigma Chi brothers & would fly several of them to LA, Vegas, or NYC for one of his premieres or a guys weekend. Mainly LA. Once he started dating Angie , she made him change phones, & the communication stopped abruptly. Concurrently the guys had no way of getting in touch w/him. His family, from what I’ve heard never cared for Angie & were always leery. I feel for him, but at same time, it was his choice.
You’re like the really eccentric, favorite aunt I never had who somehow always finds herself on serendipitous adventures that come with the promise of the most intriguing and curious stories attached. Can’t wait for your ‘next letter home’ 🥲
Kanye "Ye" West reminds me a lot of President Trump. They both have very real things that need to be said and heard, they blow it by saying something inappropriate or unacceptable. After watching both days of the Tucker Carlson, Ye interview, I was so impressed, that I immediately shared it on my FB, Instagram, and Twitter accounts, because I wanted them to hear where Kanye was coming from. Then bang, the next day he shoots himself in the foot by saying something that he never should have said, and erases all the good he just did. I want to believe that he's not racist, and that he just didn't express his frustrations in what he feels is going on, and generalized way too much. :(
I picture you in a room with one of those crime-solving walls; you know the ones, with the pictures and the clippings and the strings connecting it all... joining all the dots, constantly adding new connections and a million "ah ha!'s" A single desk cluttered with the unending supply of new material to put on the wall.
And we get to look through a window, see glimpses that you can uncover and wait ever so patiently (or not) for the next little reveal. I love it.
When will you finally reveal the picture that you received during the Depp/Heard trial?! You said it’d break the internet if you released it then but you would at a later time!
I can’t lie. Kanye is driving me insane with the constant text message reveals and now the anti-Semite. I really wanted to continue to support him with his truth telling but at the moment I’ve found myself on the fence leaning more towards the ‘unfollow’ side.
99% sure Kanye meant "Zionists" (i.e. theMega Group/Unit 8200 gang & Known Associates), instead of "The Jews", but just did not know how to properly elucidate himself.

We live in a world where people are too busy looking at what the "it" people tell us to then stopping and looking at what they are trying to distract us from and manipulate us to.
I have agreed with him on most as of late except his last tweets, but i don't agree his antisemitic rather lost in translation.
I also find it hilarious those who label him crazy and tell us to ignore him because of his mental illness turn around and post about being kind on world mental health day. Hypocrisy at its finest
I’m exactly where you are on Kanye. I really like your balanced take on the situation. He sounded sane and intelligent in the Tucker Carlson interview but based on past experience I knew he would go too far. He always does. I hope he eventually learns to edit himself for his children’s sake.

The Brad-Angie disagreements are sad more than anything. Reputation wise this protracted legal entanglement may hurt Brad more than Angie. She had a notorious and destructive reputation before her UNHCR appointment. Any mudslinging may not hit in the same way as she is still a champion for many of those causes. In contrast Brad had a pretty clean reputation prior to the Smith's. However, since 2005 he has had a number of large setbacks including the Make it Right Foundation housing debacle in New Orleans. At the end of the day what matters is what their kids say and do. Now that the three oldest are out in the world they can have a voice, if they want to use it.
It is important to consider everything in light of the film By the Sea, which was written and produced by the duo. The art one creates is at the very least informed by the life a person lives. Clearly the main difference between the characters in the film and the couple is the presence of their children. The male character drinks too much, is jealous, and violent. The female character, oversexualized, dealing with permanent infertility, and feelings of inadequacy as a woman. Remember this was written and filmed after Jolie's double mastectomy and ovarian surgeries.
I think they are both hurt people, who at one time loved each other deeply despite their flaws. But their children changed their lives and perspectives. Had they not had 6 children, perhaps this would not be where they are today. In the end it looks like the only thing that matters for both of them are the children, and that's why this is about reputations and creditability; that's what matters to a judge in a custody dispute-who do you trust to be the best individual to take care of minor children.
