Spencer won me over years ago w his crystals and hummingbirds, and the way he so generously promotes wherever he goes - the baristas, burrito makers, small businesses- making everyone smile. His ‘look what you made me do’ coffee hours, he’s in it to win it, their family is so cute and I’ve been streaming!!!
Praying Spedi will get a second chance at reality tv! We grew up with them, loved to hate Spencer, until we didn’t…. they are iconic. Such a cute couple and so entertaining, I am in awe of how they are hanging in there during this tragedy.
It’s sooooooo beautiful to see a father and husband hustle for his family the way he has. It feels so transparent, relatable and real. Something I admire and honestly not something we see too often out of men because you really have to be able to put your ego aside. I was not a fan of his at all but as a mother and wife, he earned my respect, Spotify and Itunes the minute he started to post and share himself so vulnerably. He spoke truths that we all think and feel. And to my surprise, the music grew on me. AND the remixes!!!! They are amazing! It’s sooooooo cool to see a sea of people who could have cared less or disliked them rally behind them because the reality is, we can all see a little piece of ourselves in them.
Adding “the type of person who likes to be productive with a head bop here and a hip thrust there” to all future resumes, bios, & dating app descriptions of me
I got through one song on the album! Hope that helps 😂 In all seriousness, they seem precious and practicing their faith in a culture that isn’t necessarily conducive is admirable.
They are such a sweet couple. I pray they will be surrounded by His love as they rebuild. She is still praising God in her storm. Heidi has such a beautiful heart.
No me running to follow the Pratt family and support them. Thank you for this. So sweet. I never watched The Hills. I just knew about Heidi and Spencer from magazine covers and seeing them online. I recall feeling disgust when a pretty girl spent thousands of dollars on plastic surgery but that's literally all I knew about them.
I watched The Hills in my early 30s. A guilty pleasure but I haven’t watched or cared for reality tv in at least 10 years (ick ick). I found Heidi insecure and she couldn’t recognize how beautiful she was and did not need the surgeries.
Thanks for a great article, Brianna. I rediscovered Spencer when he would guest on Heather McDonald and I started following his social media. I fell in love with his hummingbirds and his crystals. I’m not a Swiftie but appreciated his enthusiasm and excitement for Taylor, who sent him a gift box and he unveiled it on the beach. His love for his wife and boys is evident and Heidi is a very kind person and adoring mom. I wish these two all the best in recovering their lives. I lost my livelihood and because of that and a chronic illness I was homeless for two years with my child. Life can be brutal but they are lucky to have each other. I’d love to see them make a show.
I love this story so much! The beauty of humanity is the ability to draw strength and resilience even and especially when all hope seems lost and others around (like many of the immature comments on this post) just want to crap on people. Well, we all know they happy and well adjusted people don’t judge and tarnish others, they’re too busy living their lives and appreciating humble moments. Great write! ✨💥
I don't get this love letter to them. Ick. They got $24K in donations on TikTok + another $125K on GoFundMe. (Keep in mind they made anywhere from $70,000 to $90,000 per episode of The Hills and, until the fire, *bragged on social media* about their luxury lifestyle, including a $1 million wardrobe.) And they had insurance!!
OTOH it's refreshing to see JRK covers everyone, no matter how odious they can be. I hadn't known anything about Speidi in forever, and I'll happily keep it that way. It helps that I don't have social media.
I have definitely found them cringe at times but I have to say I relate to having to be creative to make ends meet at times! I listened to her cringe music silently on repeat all day yesterday just like he asked and will continue to do something that simple to help their family!

Lovely couple lovely family!

Instead of GoFundMe, Pratt Daddy is making his way $.10 at a time and I am here for his roasts !
No one roasts like a Leo sun who’s been wronged! 😝

This is so endearing. I didn’t actually know the whole story and didn’t watch the Hills so this was a great recap.
Came to say exactly this! Never really cared for either of them and the HUMAN approach of this article made me appreciate them both.

I love them. That's my comment. I love them.
Also, Spencer's tik toks are awesome. I love how he roasts some of the stupid people and their comments they write.

What a wonderful tribute to this beautiful family. Thank you, Jess. They are way showers, as are you.

🥹 Over here getting teary eyed from the tooth fairy moment with her son

I’m glad I found someone in the comments not hypnotised by this couple,
