Jessica my husband and I were police officers who both worked in our city’s child victim and sexual assault unit and I can second what Tim said in that 15-20 years ago if someone called our office and said they knew of a teacher/parent/coach etc who was exposing a child to any of the things we are now seeing as “accepted” we would immediately start an investigation. If a parent said they thought their 6 year old was a boy in a girls body and started dressing the child accordingly we would remove the child from the home and put them in protective custody and arrest the parent for sexual exploitation/exposure/neglect or whatever the applicable statute would be. Now it’s celebrated encouraged and supported. Now we have a pub in our downtown that offers a Sunday brunch where little children who believe they are they are other gender (always according to their parents) are allowed to dress up and adults are allowed to put dollars in their clothing. And if we called the police on that they would just say that ir was inclusion. And there’s nothing they would be able to do about it because it’s the parents choice.
Yes it’s terrible how wrong is right and vice versa with the deep state. My deceased husband was in law enforcement for 21 years. He would be at his wits end with all of this. So heartbreaking.

I am in no means trying to discredit someone who has been allegedly violated, however, I am curious if any of these individual's voiced boundaries and what their true sense of self-worth, self-esteem and core values are. Maybe Tim shut them down and they felt rejected which can be a major motivator for people to say and do negative things (accuse) because they feel shame. See, there are many angles and lenses to view situations through. Deep breath and let's see what happens when Jessica gets her interview with Tim.

I know of the legitimate rescues he and OUR have done, having listened to survivors speak in person; having listened to Rapha International speak in person. I've got conflicting feelings on this. I have not dug into the allegations against Tim but am aware of them in the broad sense. His speech sounded slurred, and he didn't appear to keep good eye contact. When he did have strong eye contact, he had "AOC:" eyes which was off-putting. Additionally, he used the crass term of "boobs" as opposed to "breasts" - twice. I have the mouth of a sailor but that didn't sit right. I do not doubt that he's done great work but like another person stated, those involved in "helping" are often participants (I'm paraphrasing). I was sexually abused from 7-16 so I'm highly sensitive to this topic. I saw The Sound of Freedom and found it credible but for me it did not live up to the hype. As always, Jessica, thank you for your incredible reporting. What a gift to read / listen to 3 of your articles while watching my 6 chickens (3 of them only 2 weeks old) play in the backyard.

How did I "attack" him? I was fully engaged in his words and how they were said. I believe my comment showed that. I live in So Cal and am highly familiar with the situation.
Good eye; I found it a little difficult to watch and listen to him also. His demeanor imparted a subtle distrust in me. Perhaps he seemed too at ease with his subject/s and subject matter (and as you mentioned- boobs, not breasts). But, the interview was conducted very casually in public too, which in itself is also a little odd. BTW, is the big buff-bro w/20 inch arms in the background his bodyguard or what…? 🤔

I have severe reservations about TB, primarily because when you start digging into S Trffckng, you often find that the organizations that claim to be helping victims are acting as fronts for trffckng them.
Tim has done a lot of good work. He’s shown time and again how our government turns a blind eye to trafficking.
That said Tim is in trouble with his integrity in question. Which is concerning.

“Everyone” in my community went to see the film- I heard rumblings about Ballard’s legal problems and decided not to view it. I was the odd person out, especially in my Christian circle. Jessica I’ll be more than interested to read what you think- how your gut feels- after getting together with him in the future- really hope that pans out!
I was suspicious of this movie immediately, the way it was marketed for a year or 2 before it came out, and who the backers were - supposedly Carlos Slim and John Paul DeJoria among them. Taking people's ten dollars to pull on their heart strings.
This is a false statement. The main story the movie covered was an actual rescue they did at the San Diego border. I live in SoCal and remember it and there is actual love footage in the movie of the rescue. Did you even see the film? 🙄

Having lived in Brazil, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Mexico and speak those languages to varying degrees, I guarantee you I have never lived in an echo chamber. The problem is with poorly educated Ameticans with no critical thinking skills. And there are many here.

I've got conflicting feelings on this. I have not dug into the allegations against Tim but am aware of them in the broad sense. His speech sounded slurred, and he didn't appear to keep good eye contact. When he did have strong eye contact, he had "AOC:" eyes which was off-putting. Additionally, he used the crass term of "boobs" as opposed to "breasts" - twice. I have the mouth of a sailor but that didn't sit right. I do not doubt that he's done great work but like another person stated, those involved in "helping" are often participants (I'm paraphrasing). I was sexually abused from 7-16 so I'm highly sensitive to this topic. I saw The Sound of Freedom and found it credible but for me it did not live up to the hype. As always, Jessica, thank you for your incredible reporting. What a gift to read / listen to 3 of your articles while watching my 6 chickens (3 of them only 2 weeks old) play in the backyard.
Disagree wholehearted with your comments. His points were very clear. This is normally how he speaks. He probably was a little tired but comments like yours distract from the points he was making. His message is so important and it’s sad people attack him instead of getting engaged in what he is saying. Living in AZ and hearing people who have lived by the border, it is that bad.
How did I "attack" him? I was fully engaged in his words and how they were said. I believe my comment showed that. I live in So Cal and am highly familiar with the situation.

Good eye; I found it a little difficult to watch and listen to him also. His demeanor imparted a subtle distrust in me. Perhaps he seemed too at ease with his subject/s and subject matter (and as you mentioned- boobs, not breasts). But, the interview was conducted very casually in public too, which in itself is also a little odd. BTW, is the big buff-bro w/20 inch arms in the background his bodyguard or what…? 🤔
I didn’t get that vibe from him and I didn’t notice the boob part. I had a hard time hearing some of it. I found The Sound of Freedom credible too but agree it did not live up to the hype. Anyhow, anxious to learn more through Jessica. Of course she runs into Tim Ballard on the street for an impromptu interview! 👏🏻

I have severe reservations about TB, primarily because when you start digging into S Trffckng, you often find that the organizations that claim to be helping victims are acting as fronts for trffckng them.
Tim has done a lot of good work. He’s shown time and again how our government turns a blind eye to trafficking.
That said Tim is in trouble with his integrity in question. Which is concerning.
I’m willing to read and see what you find out. Please ask him when you meet with him again about the positive DNA test (on the skirt) he was subjected to recently.

I recently met a Texas Game Warden who works shifts guarding the Texas border. Until you hear the stories or, I imagine, see what’s going on at the border, it’s just hard to understand. I wonder if talking to someone like that would be enlightening?

“Everyone” in my community went to see the film- I heard rumblings about Ballard’s legal problems and decided not to view it. I was the odd person out, especially in my Christian circle. Jessica I’ll be more than interested to read what you think- how your gut feels- after getting together with him in the future- really hope that pans out!
I was suspicious of this movie immediately, the way it was marketed for a year or 2 before it came out, and who the backers were - supposedly Carlos Slim and John Paul DeJoria among them. Taking people's ten dollars to pull on their heart strings.

This is a false statement. The main story the movie covered was an actual rescue they did at the San Diego border. I live in SoCal and remember it and there is actual love footage in the movie of the rescue. Did you even see the film? 🙄
