I loved this 🤩 just a light touch on a few current things. I’ve said this before after these types of articles but this reminded me of reading an actual magazine which brings about a lot of nostalgia! I just watched your JFKJR story highlights from 2020 and screenshotted so many fashion inspo pics; they were a beautiful couple. RIP 🤍

I just can’t with Julia and George. Sold their souls. Those are the types I can’t stand. Like they know us peons are dyingggg and can’t afford things and they don’t care. Just a joke.

Love Jessica line... "Julia turned comments off and George went home to another country." So fitting, they could care less about us.

Great article - Just what I didn't realize I needed. This is off topic, but I watched Brats - The Andrew McCarthy doc. His time with Demi Moore was lovely. I didn't realize she is actually intelligent. I stupidly assumed that due to her plastic surgery, she had nothing to offer. I was wrong. I enjoyed the movie and took the oppotunity to introduce my 17 yo son to The Breakfast Club. He didn't love it like I hoped but I loved sharing that time with him - reminding myself I was young, hot and fun at one point in my life.

Read Demi enlightening memoir *Inside Out*…

Thank you - I will. I started McKenzie Phillips' memoir and holy hell! I got side-tracked by a book someone on Jessica's page recommended - Family of Secrets - and I am 100% invested in that. I'm torn between history, current events and "fluff." Plus work/wife/mom/Nana .....I need to look into this cloning thing.

Ooh I have Family of Secrets in my Audible library and haven’t read yet. Is that the one about the Bush dynasty? I read McKenzie’s memoir too. It was hard to get through. CHAOS is on my list. I’m currently reading Pillars of the Earth so I get the “history/current events/fluff” lol.

Yes- I'm only about 50 pages and my mouth has remained open most of the time. My sister celebrated when Bush Sr died and I thought she was so cruel. She wasn't. I am gonna download Pillars of Earth now too. Thank you.

Loved Demi’s biography. So interesting and honest!

St. Elmos Fire is one of those movies that I will always watch if it's on. Jules was the coolest.

I was born in 1971 so I was perfect age to enjoy the amazing Gen X movies. My son is almost 17 and this year I took him to see Footloose, Fast Times, and 16 Candles at a local theater. He was less than impressed. We watched The Breakfast Club recently at home when his friend was over. Neither loved it. They had questions. It was EXACTLY how my high school experience was - clicks etc. I was shocked their experience is so different. I go back and forth with Demi Moore. I remember when she was on General Hospital and I already had a grudge against her because she was there to “replace” Genie Francis. I read her book (I did the audiobook) a few years ago and LOVED it. Highly recommend. I loved what she had to say on BRATS. I thought, this is very much a healed woman who has clearly worked on herself. To be honest, I find women who get surgery, filler, Botox to be vain. I think it’s doing women as a whole a disservice. I recently saw Demi preaching on acceptance while she was having her makeup done (eyeroll). I’m all for being your best self but the woman is 61 and people gush at how amazing she looks. She’s had it ALL done. Okay, rant over lol. I’m disturbed by a video I saw on the Internet when she’s in her 20’s and tongue kissing a little boy who looks to be about 13.

I kinda love you! I was born in 64 - my son is almost 18. Had my daughter at 30 and my son at 42. She loves my old movies but after seeing my son's tepid reaction to Breakfast Club, I'm not gonna be sharing those gems with him for a while.

Ha! I love it. I do wish my son could relate more. I was raised by a combo of Greatest Generation and Baby Boomer. I’ve given my son values lacking today and while he struggles with his generation and he says he can’t stand them, it’s unavoidable to not be influenced. I thought our old movies would be relatable to all generations.

Fantastic, fun read! I love that the boys going to Europe are prepared for everything! Very realistic of you moms to provide them with necessities and just in cases.

I’m pretty sure that’s Maria Shriver sitting next to Hillary, and yes BC there too.

No one will ever replace John Jr and Caroline. Sigh.

Have a great time this summer exploring! Arlo will have tales to tell and inspire others! Good on him for the ice cream truck savings.

I’m just surprised that the Markles didn’t show up for Weekend at Bernie’s too!

That actually IS Jackie sitting next to Hillary. Native New Englander here and I remember when this happened.

And isn't that Anthony Weiner next to Bill? Disgusting!!

I don't even wanna say this because I know you know that's Daryl Hannah and not CBK right? Sorry!!

I do lol - still summer stylish though

Agreed - there's also one with them and she's in a navy dotted suit and I bought a similar one one at J Crew a few years ago just because...

Yes!! I loved them together too.

Well that was fun! Minus the maddening Biden bull - I can’t believe people can’t see his dementia. And I miss Caroline and Kennedy so much.

This was such a summery, fun read! Those 2 were such a beautiful couple. Makes you wonder what would have happened had they lived. I think it's Darryl Hannah in the first shot, right? John definitely had a type. Remember this headline--"Dr. Anthony Fauci Honored by Julia Roberts at AMFAR’s Gala for Our Time." She is such a sell out! When she saw Biden unable to exit the stage without help from Obama what could possibly be going through her head? Probably, shit, hope that's edited out. The pretty woman may be pretty on the outside but it's a whole different story on the inside. And all I can say is WOW about Camila Morrone. Who is Leo's latest victim? I think Camila aged out. Happy summer Jessica! sabrinalabow.substack.com

Off topic. I live in Ibiza and it doesn't deserve the rep it has! From one mum to another, as long as Arlo and co exercise good judgement they should be ok x
