It’s my opinion based on my own personal observations and stories from friends in education that are surrounded by these students before/after. It’s definitely my opinion but it’s very clear to me where & when the issue education system became much more dependent on how they were viewed/funded by the feds. I’ve heard the same from multiple teacher friends who have been threatened to stay silent over time and “just comply.” Same sort of thing as kids came back after COVID. None of us have specific receipts just observation. And just to add- I’m not a fan of Obama and not officially blaming him or his administration- just saying that the educational system began to get much worse as he took office. I’m sure educator salaries versus admin salaries are partially to blame- but I’m also sure it goes deeper than that. The constant pushing of liberal agendas is still rampant as I’ve returned to school, to the point where even in my conservative state- you know that if you mention politics in class you’re going to start a fight with the professors.
