Thank you so much for the transcript. As a person who is hard of hearing, it’s difficult trying to understand podcasts when there’s no transcript.

I know we will never know, but I’m not Convinced about JLaw (nor even Gwyneth). It’s fascinating that not ONE single Hollywood actress has admitted to sleeping with him voluntarily - and if you do the math, there’s got to be plenty of them who willingly did. I think I’m to the point where I’d have more respect for an actress who said “yeah I did have consensual relations with Harvey and that’s why I’m here with my Oscar” than those who just keep hiding behind their trophies. It just seems so smug to act like you’re the only one out of a hundred women who was treated “professionally” by Harvey and have 2 Oscars to boot. Give me a break. This is not accountability.

So many gorgeous starlets sleeping with ugly Hollywood cretins nothing new here. Sexual harassment/ rape happens in other work environments as well , like the music world, which I’ve also worked in. I work in casting

since the mid 90’s. Ive known many of these young wannabe actresses ,a few are big now ,some find a rich husband and retire or live off their divorce money. The first movie I ever worked on was produced by HW , he was a tyrant on set. ( I have some stories) There are men who take advantage of their powerful position and there are even women who take advantage of men , although it’s way less common . It’s interesting what some will do for fame. It’s also scary what power can do to some people.

Asia Argento. About bloody time she was brought back up. Can't wait.

I don’t think it’s wanting fame vs free will exactly. So far it sounds like they were all using HW, likely were warned what would happen if they ended up in a room alone with him, and still went. I hate victim blaming, but when you KNOW he will expect sex of you, you KNOW it’s a pay to play situation, why are you showing up? Of course they should be allowed to leave for any reason at any time. But, if I was offered an interview for a dream job and it was suggested I’d have to bang a creepy boss when I came in, it would be a hard pass.

That being said, with the pressure from mothers, friends, boyfriends, and agents probably telling these women this is their one shot and they don’t want to make an enemy of HW, it makes me more sympathetic. Is all of Hollywood as much of a cult as Scientology? Every professional network is capable of shutting people out and often it only takes one respected person to destroy a newcomers reputation. If HW was in charge of who makes it and who doesn’t in that network, and he expects sex from women or else, then that’s a huge problem. It really doesn’t matter if women want to be actresses or rocket scientists, sex shouldn’t be required for entry.

Unfortunately, the hoes are on these rich, powerful men hard. These dudes have forgotten not all women play that game. Or these men become so delusional they forget how objectively unfuckable they are and ruin the women who turn them down. I suspect this case is more about coercion and retaliation than rape. And if someone is raped and trapped in a small professional network with their abuser, can you blame them for trying to use that person to increase their own power? It’s unfair to expect them to go to police because they will do nothing to the man and the woman’s career would be over.

I don’t think it’s okay to feel upset with the alleged victim who went with HW even though she didn’t want to go. I mean even if she made the wrong choice, even if she opened the door for something bad to happen, he should still be prosecuted for doing something wrong. If I had a choice to walk down a abandoned, dark alley or a bright, busy street, and I chose the dark alley and got raped, you can be disappointed in me or think I made a dumb choice by choosing the alley, but the rapist still chose to do something illegal. He still abused me and should be prosecuted. Even if I made a bad choice.

I LOVE when you do the podcast style. The transcript threw me as soon as it said Bri said something about Arlo. So I gave up. Also very interested in the Danny Masterson case but be careful with those crazy Scientologists!!!!

Was Harvey ever drugging these women or just really great at intimidating them into submission? Speaking only from my own experience of being drugged and raped when I was in the military. I knew the next morning exactly what happened to my body due to bleeding and pain but I have no full recollection of when I was blacked out just little blips of flashbacks. But just bc she didn’t remember hearing an alarm is she that easily dismissed. The almost identical story is 100% shady and doesn’t make sense, let alone going to his party afterwards. Was the 3am fire alarm going off the 1st assault or the 2nd one?

And I wanna know what his mutilated body looks like, curiosity is killing me. 🤢🤣

Thanks for keeping us updated ladies! Love the podcast style episodes.

The Danny masterson case just gets more and more sleazy, Scientology is fucked up. Leah reminis posts about it absolutely shattered me reading them. To be suppressed overnight if you report it... I can’t even imagine that.

Just goes to show.... power & money > looks. I, personally, do not see the attraction to any of these powerful men, but then I’m not a Hollywood movie star. Most of these people seem to have sold their souls to the devil. I cannot wait for Mel Gibson!

I appreciate the transcript. Thank you.

It would be easier to read if traditional formatting were used, e.g., boldface the speaker’s name initially and then abbreviate it throughout. Eliminate spacing between speaker’s name and comment.

Great synopsis and opinions on the trial. Thank you for the commentary and updates. Where are all the people who enabled HW? Other must have known man or female in the industry or social scene and no one spoke up? It’s like the Epstein list. Where is it? There are more culpable individuals, obviously

Just went down a Bijou Philips rabbit hole, girl has such a messed up family and it looks like she chose a partner that is familiar in his disfunction. Hollyweird never disappoints in its creepyness. Thanks Jessica and Jaggy.

Yikes. I know enough about Scientology that I felt very uneasy after the close of that podcast episode-which, btw, was a fascinating listen overall!

“It was nuts! No pun intended...”

You ladies are incredible. I loved hearing your opinions!!! Stay safe out there and bravo for your honesty, bravery, tenacity and endurance!
