Melania. I need more coverage on Melania, Im so genuinely curious about her. Is she really poreless? She just looks so sparkly, like a beaming light. I bet she smells expensive. Have you interacted with her much? Whats she like? Do whatever you need to do to get a tour of her closet.

It's time she had her Vogue cover....and yes, all things Melania. I find her fascinating, smart, and insanely beautiful. I lovelovelove her clothes. Stay warm! Layers are the secret.

You have been blessed with the gift of giving so many a voice. Please go….cold is temporary. Then go somewhere warm. But the remembrance of this historic point in time does not deserve to be watched from the sidelines.

Expand full comment

agreed. Cold is temporary and there are hand warmers and fleece lined things!!! Layers is the way to go. Toe Warmers!

Expand full comment

Agreed! There are so many options for hand warmers, heated vests and coats that there must be some way to use technology to stay warm!

Go in person!! There’s no bad weather, only inappropriate clothing LOL. Layers! Wool trousers, wool long coat. Or fur! I’ve got a long mink coat you could borrow 😂

Expand full comment

Yes DEFINITELY GO in person and see it live!! There’s nothing like the energy of live person experience and you will thus avoid being at the mercy of cameraman choosing what you see. You need to choose because you’re so great at noticing the unnoticed things of importance.

Agreed! PLEASE go in person. Wear an amazing and warm fur coat and hat and gloves

I am attending all of the inaugural events as well and have many of the same feelings/issues that you have. I draw the line at rain, but should be warm enough to handle anything else weather wise. For any of us who worked tirelessly to help to get Trump elected, this is the completion of that endeavor and it is an honor to be able to be present for any and all of it. The people that I am attending with have decided that we take it all as it comes and decide what we can and cannot endure when we’re there. I will be prepared for the ski slopes or black tie. Enjoy it and take it all in. We all played a part in this historic win!!!

If Trump can do a rally in the rain, we should be able to do his inauguration in the rain with umbrellas (after what they have put him through)😂

Expand full comment

Umbrellas are usually not allowed. Trust me, I’ve been to many cold and/or rainy Trump rally’s.

I’m in Alberta Canada and cold weather is not 32 degrees. My point is don’t give up the opportunity to be at the inauguration in person because it may be a once in lifetime event for you. Also you don’t know what you will miss and record by being right there. Grateful to have found your site two years ago.

Jessica I'm 70 yrs. old. I live vicariously through you! I'd appreciate anything you can do. I'd want to be there live to watch history! I'd want to see it all. Elegant Melania of course and JD's wife. Any and all behind the scenes, balls and shaking the President's hand if you can. All the memorabilia and food. I'm chronically ill on oxygen 24/7 and could never afford to get there much less, hotels, the right clothes and oh if I could dance the night away! Just be you as you always are and let your words transform this magnificent event for us. Have a great time!

Would love more insight about DJT and Melania- how they interact, communicate with each other. Excited for you!

Yes! Would love to hear more about their relationship

I will be attending as well, from Iowa. We are staying less than a mile from the ceremony. We plan to attend the Trump Rally on Sunday. I too am anxious on what to wear. I’m sure we will be doing a lot of walking. At first when my husband suggested going I said “oh the best seats will be from our living room!” That said, the magnitude and Impact of THIS Inauguration Day is huge! That’s why we decided to drive out! Driving allows us to bring many extra options for weather. I have been a Trump supporter from Day 1!! I can’t wait to be a part of this monumental day!! #TrumpVance2024 ♥️🇺🇸🙏

Girl! This is history, you cannot miss it! Fleece lined leggings under your pants is a must! Beautiful hat, scarves, gloves, hand warmers, feet warmers- you got this!’

Expand full comment

Fleece lined leggings under chic trousers — essential for Inauguration Day if you go. It’s the *sitting* in cold that makes it so miserable.

Right...and long coat and scarf...if windy your hair will be in your face...everyone will be dressing super warm on the steps...other than that knock your socks off at the inside events!

I literally teared up a little when you said you’d been granted total access. I’m so proud of you!! You have to go to everything because you CAN!! But please be careful! I’m really concerned for everyone’s safety at that weekend!

I want Melania and Melania and Trump interacting; She is my 'girl crush' for sure, also am i imagining it but has the Don lost weight, changed from being tangerine to a light ochre and coloured his hair in preparation?

Expand full comment

Yes! THis. My sister and I noticed that his appearance seems to be subtly changing!

Love you! I hate being cold too, but I would go 🥶

Expand full comment

You absolutely should go! This is a historic event, once in a lifetime! Also with cold, you will be in a group of people that will help and get you some hand warmers at the sporting goods store for your pockets

Also wear pants to this event only for warmth

Lucky u!! Now go out there and record everything and share the details about everything!!🥰🥳

In person! No such thing as bad weather just bad clothing. Get some stylish wool clothing and you’ll do great! 🇺🇸

Wear “ 32 degree “ brand under everything. You can usually find it at Costco. Also any thin merino wool undergarments. Boots and lined tights while outside. Cashmere neck scarf and long wool coat as good as any puffer. Layer layer layer. Good winter gloves and insert hand warmers. I find the little packets better than any battery insert. You will be fine. Kids here in UT wear shorts to school and no jackets when it’s that temperature. DC is a wetter cold than UT but think of it as a cold day in San Francisco (without all the goofballs) And since faux fur is back, go for the glamour!
